Reuniting Tornedalians

"Come here, let me look you over." Peyton whispered to Koby, moving her gaze back to him as she opened up the kit.

Koby limped over to her, he couldn't shift back, but he could at least get to her, his rapid healing already kicking in.

She pulled out a water bottle from the kit, pouring it into a travel plastic dog bowl and putting it in front of him.

He started drinking from the bowl, many wolves would have been unimpressed, him he didn't really see the difference, water was water who cares where it was from.

Meanwhile, Jeni was sitting as a wolf by a river, she was watching her reflection.

Peyton moved her hand to smooth his fur down, whispering quietly in praise, "You done so well, I'm so glad your okay."

Christopher was outside of the den of the pack that had taken Isaac a few weeks before, gun in his hand and knife in his pocket; getting his revenge.

He looked at her, and he gave her a wolf grin.

Jeni moved to lick her paws before she went for a walk, she wasn't far from the wolf den that held Issac.

Christopher froze when he heard the sound of wolf paws, looking in Jeni's direction and relaxing a bit when he recognised her.

Peyton pulled out some anti-septic and cleaned some of his open wounds that were taking longer to heal.

Jeni hadn't noticed him yet, too busy playing with a rabbit.

He stayed still watching.

Christopher laughed quietly as he watched her.

"Thats them all clean, if they aren't healed by the morning I'll look into them more then." She hummed, "Celebrate with your pack, when you shift back come to me. My front door will be unlocked."

At hearing him laugh, she looked over and he tail started to wag happily as she walked over.

If he could be would have raised an eyebrow at her wording about the door, but he nodded and he walked back to his pack, some of the females already coming over and rubbing their heads against his in welcome and friendliness.

Peyton watched for a few minutes before getting to her feet and heading back towards her home.

"Keep walking," Christopher whispered, "I'm working."

She cocked her head slightly, before she seemed to sigh and gently press her nose to his hand before she slinked back into the shadows.

Koby came back to her place in the early hours, he was dressed and all of his wounds had at least scabbed over, some had healed completely.

Peyton was dozing on the sofa, blinkibg her eyes open wheb she heard him come in. Sitting herself up tiredly.

He watched her go with a smile.

Koby got himself a glass of water from her kitchen and he leant against the sink.

Jeni got home around dawn, and she walked through the front door, she was back to human, dressed in loose baggy clothes.

Peyton got to her feet and wandered out into the kitchen, sliding her arms around him sleepily and hugging him.

Christopher still wasn't home.

Jeni couldn't find him, but she wasn't too worried, she knew that he knew what he was doing, and she made him some breakfast, keeping it warm for him before she went to check on Issac.

he turned around to hug her in return.

"How are you feeling?" She asked with a yawn.

"I'm alright, are you?"

"Mm, wasn't nice to watch but I'm glad your okay." She whispered.

Christopher wandered into the house afterhalf an hour, covered in blood but it wasnt his own and he was humming cheerily.

Jeni was sitting in the living room, she was eating her way through a bacon sandwich watching the news, and it was about the group that Christopher had gone after, and that most of them were found dead.

He nodded. "You didn't have to come." He told her, he originally hadn't wanted her to come and watch, but had let up after a while.

"Oh, I smell bacon." Christopher hummed as he grabbed a towel from the side and used it to wipe the blood off of his face.

"I needed to know you were okay,"

"Yours is under the heater." She told him as she walked to him.

"Your amazing," Christopher hummed, heading over and getting his portion.

"What happens now?"

"Well, you've done it for me, it's the least that I could do."

"Now, I spend the rest of the full moon leading a pack."

"Mm," He hummed, sitting down beside her heavily as he took a bite of his food. "What you watching?"
