"Why dont I get a tail?"

"Because you're perfectly normal." She told him.

"I want a tail."

She smiled. "I wish it was that easy my darling."

"There must be a way."

"Well, we haven't found one yet." She told her. "MAybe we will in the future."

"Are there mermen?"

"Soemtimes."

"I want to be one of them."

She smiled fondly. "Maybe one day." She told him. "Now come on, it's time for dinner and bed, and the cook is making your favourite." She told him. "We can come back out in the morning."

Meanwhile, Jack was walking through a thick forest with the group, following the directions on their very limited map.

"It's too early."

"I'm sure that compass is broken, mine is saying we're going in the opposite direction." Wyatt muttered as he walked.

"This is the one the map was in. The map will mean whatever this one says." Darcy mumbled.

Jack looked around them. "Let's jut stop for a minute we've been walking for hours."

"Won't be by the time we get up onto the ship." She told him playfully. "But the sooner you get up there and eat your dinner the sooner you get your ice cream."

"Tired old man?" Wyatt teased with a laugh, rolling his eyes when Darcy glared at him.

Jack laughed. "Well I'm not as spry as I used to be."

"The problem is we're following a compass probably centuries old and not using common sense."

Darcy sighed deeply. "Where do you think we should be going then?"

"I'd rather swim for longer than have ice cream."

"Guys, stop." Jack told them. "Look, this is new ground for all of us, so we can stop arguing before it truly begins?"

"Rico, you know what youd dad is going to do if he finds you out here as the sunsets." She reminded him.
