"Yeah, I stopped by Faun's for the antidote."

"Good,"

She smiled. "So, what did you have planned for tonight?"

"Dinner, its meant to be a clear night so if we had to the top of the mountain the view could be pretty great."

Zhe nodded. "Sounds [erfect."

"Mm, perfect people think of perfect things." He chuckled, heading up the mountain

She smiled. "That they do."

"So, we're all back out again tomorrow in search of this vampire?"

"No, we subdued him." She told him.

"Ah ok, good."

She nodded, a soft smile on her lips.

"How was Harrison today?"

"He was good." She told him, before she told him about Ryan.

"I hate that cretin," Noah mumbled, "He's been getting far too big for his boots for a while."

"We need to tell Faun, and we'll tell her tomorrow."

"Makes my blood boil, they've all been criticising him today, you know? They should be treating him like a damn hero, the amount of death he saved by going in there himself."

"I know." She told him. "But all we can do is talk to Faun, she's the main alpha while he recovers and gets as back to his old self as possible."

"I mean.. That isnt all we can do. Its all we should do, but it'd be easy for us to go straight to the problem."

"And Faun will be pissed, she doesn't even know about it."

Noah just shrugged, whispering, "He is more than just alpha to me, he's my best friend."

"I know, but we have to do things properly, you know that."

Noah just nodded, ducking under some low lying tree branches once they got to the top of the mountain revealing an open area lit up by candles,. A small table in the centre with a bouqet of roses in the middle and her favourite meal waiting for her.

She stopped when she saw it and she smiled. "Noah it's perfect."

"Mm, no.. No its you thats perfect. You deserve things lile this every night."

She looked to him, kissing him gently.
