Reuniting Tornedalians

Peyton just sobbed, so distraught she was struggling to keep herself on her feet. Attempting to speak a few times but constantly choking on her words as they were cut off by sobs so giving up after a few moments.

"Mm," He hummed, wrinkling his nose. Unsure what else to say, unused to closed responses.

Peyton remained as she was, desperate to be held though upon realising he wasn't going to she allowed her legs to give up, instead pulling them up to her chest and muffling her cries into her knees.

"How am I going to change the world? I'm going to find a way to get rich and set up a adoption agency; a good one none of these ones where people get to choose the age they want. It'll be based off of personality reports. No one gets told no, but no one gets to be fussy either."

Harrison was sat just outside of it, enjoying the last of the sun before a storm rolled in.

"I always thought I was one, an orphan or abandoned or something like that so.. It's important to me."

"Always," He hummed. "Are you okay?"

"I've always had a family," Max answered quietly. "So, no, that isn't the strange part. The strange part is they were right under my nose the whole time."

"That isn't bad thing, you yell at each other and then you hug each other until you both feel better. It's weird that you two have gone so long without snapping."

"Cool off, then go and hug her. Easy stuff, don't stress." He hummed with a grin.

"What about you... Close to your family?"

"Sounds... Cosy."

Harrison just nodded, leaning down and grabbing a beer can; passing it to him.

"Was the holiday nice? Faun and I are starting to organise one."

"You have your own place?"

"Sounds like good weather for day time drinking," Harrison hummed with a grin. "We were going to put Abi in charge whilst we were away, i think she is ready."

"Ah, I have a place alone. I couldn't imagine sharing with someone."

"She's nervous but I think she is trying to trust mt judgement that it will be a good idea," He laughed. "She wants this holiday as much as I do,"

"No, it's nice to be alone when I am surrounded by people most of the time. I like it when you stop talking and then you can't hear anything, its just silent."

"Exactly," He hummed, "We haven't told her yet because we havent booksd anything so keep it on the down low for now."

"Mm, this place has me on edge."

"Good, now don't be worried about this thing between you and Peyton. She thinks the world of you, I'm sure that won't change just because you lost your temper. Do you feel bad for it, or relieved you've finally done it?"

"Mm, I'm going to have to choose too. I don't like that, I've always wanted to know about this part of myself; I don't know if its enough to give up a life I have already established though."

"Family, my family... And they won't ever have a truce with the pack."
