Reuniting Tornedalians

((well originally we said that those who came back would be slaves in a war time thing, but I was thinking maybe one of them could become a slave and do the bidding or the witches and the hunters or maybe a truce could be called by the hunters and the pack to deal with the witches and they find out thay Koby is a slave for them?))

(( I dont like the idea of a truce between the wolves and the hunters. Otherwise there is no point of there being hunters at all, it takes away a whole drama base.

Also if we go for it I think it'd be nice for Peyton to do the main part of the rescuing, since she does get over shadowed by everyone else so much. Plus she's already gone through witches controlling her so she'll know the signs and how it works - it would just make sense like that ))

((good point, it could be a short truce just to get rid of the witches))

(( Hmm.. Ok. Deal. Shall we skip a couple of weeks then, say Koby's behaviour has been getting more and more out of character and Peyton cottons on? ))

It had been a few weeks and Koby had been spending more and more time away from the pack and Faun was starting to become. Concerned as they were both meant to go for a walk together and he hadn't showed.

"Are you going to hear my theory out and let me handle this or are you going to run in gun-ho when you will have no idea what you are dealing with?" Peyton asked her daughter quietly as she came up at her side.

"Good morning to you too." Faun told her as she stopped beside her. "What are your suggestions?"

"I'm not telling you what is going on until you promise to handle this as I tell you to."

"Will you just tell me already?"

"Not until you promise." Peyton repeated. "You have to say it Faun."

"It would depend on what it is, but just so you know this conversation is a tad bit hypocritical."

"Fine, I'll deal with it all alone." Peyton replied with an eyeroll. Walking away.

"Hey, you seem. To forget he's my family too."

"Promise to let me lead then, promise not to jump the gun when you can't understand how any of this works. Its all you have to do. I'm not being unreasonable, you care about him so much then put your alpha ego to the side because this is to do with family not the fucking pack."

"Then stop making demands, family is meant to stick together not listen to one person." She told her. "And as far as you know I might know more than you think but since I have no idea what you're on about because you're waiting for me to agree to your demands, I would t know."

"Fuck off." Peyton answered, done with her daughters attitude now. Soon out of sight, having headed off.

"Same to you." She told her before she headed back to the pack.

Peyton quietly headed into the forest then, pausing where vines and trees created a thick layer over a hidden stone cellar. Pushing her way through, she remained in the shadows, out of sight and waiting for either Koby or one of the witches - having been observing unseen for the past few weeks - since Koby had shown her his injury.

A few other witches walked through, not thr main ones but new ones, they were talking about a gathering of the witches.

Peyton focus so she could hear all of the details, keep her eyes scanned to spot Koby.

"There. Will be thousands of us there, that pack and those humans don't stand a chance."

Peyton raised an eyebrow in curiousity wheb humans were mentioned.

"Come on, we had best get going, we need to be there by nightfall."

Peyton waited until they had gone before mocing further into the cellar in search of Koby. Remaining hidden.

Koby was watching her, he was in the shadows, cleaning what looked like knives, he was shirtless but that was because he now had more cuts on his body. "You shouldn't be here."
