"Not every time in the past few months you haven't." Peyton mumbled, reaching her hand forward to rest it just beside the wound. "That isnt fair, Koby. Can't make me feel like shit because you don't tell me stuff like this. That isnt fair. Dont you seme how messed up this is? I cant tell you stuff and you obviously cant tell me stuff."

"I couldn't tell you about this." He td her. "This is the only thing I could not tell you, not even Faun or Rebekah know, the consequences were too great."

"I don't understand," She whispered, sitting herself down on the bed and tugging him down to sit beside her. "Whats going on?"

"I can't tell you yet you just have to trust me."

Peyton wrinkled her nose in response to that, nervous. "Are you going to be okay? Why hasnt this healed..?"

"It's fresh, even for. Me this will take a while."
He told her. "I should be."

She exhaled slowly, gently pulling him into a hug.

He hugged her back.

"You'd hate me if I ever kept anything like whatever this is away from you." She pointed out, brushing her fongertips through his hair gently

"I don't want to argue anymore."

"Nor do I," She whispered. "I love you."

"I love you too."

"Your not doing something that'll get you killed, are you?"

He shook his head

"Okay," She whispered, resting her head on his shoulder gently

He slid his arms around her.

Peyton was silent then

He was also silent.
