"Not entirely." He told her. "W've gone in one straight line, isn't this your old territory?"

"Feels like a circle, maybe I'm still exhausted." Peyton mumbled quietly, glancing around before nodding, "Lets go toward the pack, if she went for Faun last night she might be heading towards her again."

He nodded.

"Stay close," She advised quietly, "They know me, so they won't do anything - they'll want to, but they won't. You, on the other hand.... just, stay close." she repeated before heading towards the dens. Staying alert, for both the wolves and for Belle.

Faun was playing what looked like volleyball with some of the other wolves in the middle of the den.

Peyton paused just as they came into the sight, asking Andre quietly, "Have you picked up any other sign of Belle?"

"No but she might be here."

"Mm," Peyton frowned before whistling to get Faun's attention, waving her over.

Harrison had just entered the territory, on his way back from spending the night at Koby's. Not to far into his home, he caught Belle's scent, wrinkling his nose he began to stalk through the forest - following it.

Belle was watching Faun, and then she noticed Abi walked over to her mum, before Harrison could get to her, she went to attack Abi but Faun had caught her scent earlier and caught her by her throat. "You again."

Abi looked like a deer. Caught in headlights as she watched her mother.

Peyton sighed deeply and wandered over then, "What has gotten into you Belle, what is all of this about? You've not been like this before, please, tell us what is going on."

"Did you two know she was here?" Faun asked them. "Because I've got more. To deal. With than this crazy witch." She told them.

"We didn't knlw." Andre told her. "Good, then take her out of our territory and deal with her."

"We didn't know, we went to check on her this morning and she was gone." Peyton answered, "We apologise for her behaviour, it isn't like her. Let me take her back to the coven, I'll get out of her what is going on - I take responsibility, Faun."

"She got too close to Abi," Harrison contributed, making sure he stood in front of his daughter. "She attacks on our territory and we get to do whatever we like with her, Peyton, you know that."

"No one got hurt today."

"If I hadn't stopped her, she would have." Faun told her. "You want her then your leader comes and gets her." Faun told them. "Pack law is absolute you know thay mum."

"Just let me talk to her then."

"You can talk to her in the holding pen. " Faun told her as she got to her feet and gave Belle to the other wolves.

Peyton just sighed deeply, glancing over her shoulder and mumbling to Andre; "Come on, I assume you're going to want to speak to her too, hm? Unless you want to go back and get the others so we can get her back."

"Nah I want to hear her excuse."

Faun looked to Harrison. "I need to talk to you after we sort this mess out."

Peyton nodded, following behind the wolves as they took Belle to the holding pen.

Harrison just nodded subtly in response to Faun

When she was in the pen, one of the wolves stayed on guard as the others went back to enjoy their day.

Faun sighed looking to Abi. "Are you okay?"

"I'm okay, it just spooked me... How do you two do it?"

"Practice sweetheart and its our job to protect you."

"Lots and lots of practice," Harrison agreed with a nod.

"So..." Peyton began, sitting herself down in front of the pen and resting her head against her palm as she watched Belle. "What do you have to say for yourself? It'd be nice to have some kind of explanation, I'm worried about you."

"Why are you worried I can look after myself."

Abi nodded. "Okay... Thanks mum, thanks dad." She smiled before her attention was called to. Deal with other matters.

"Shes growing up so fast." Faun whispered.

"I'm worried because your my best friend, and wolves are ruthless. I'm worried because no matter what happens here, I am going to lose someone unless you tell me what is going on and we find a way you can stop. This is my daughter your targeting Belle, and my relationship with her has always been strained but she is still my baby and I would do anything to keep her safe - I don't want to lose your friendship, I don't want to fight with you - physically or otherwise. So, tell me, whats going on? Why are you hurting my baby?"

Harrison nodded subtly in agreement. "Mm, it's not a bad thing. Soon we're going to be able to go on holiday, not having to worry about children or the pack. Just you, me, the sun and alcohol."

"That's what we need. To talk about."

"When she agrees to our leaders demands I'll leave her alone."

"Ah, so I've obviously fallen out of the loop somewhere or you have been on your secret little spy missions again. What are the demands? Wolves rarely give into demands, yet alone this pack, yet alone my daughter."

"You don't want to go on holiday now?" He frowned.

"Of. Course I do.... Follow me." She told him. And she pulled him. Towards their den and when they were in their room she showed him the box with the pregnancy test in.
