"It isn't important," He mumbled, making his way across the river by jumping from rock to rock. "Come on, let's get out of here."

Harrison sighes, wandering over to their daughter then. "Abi we need to talk, in private."

She sighed and got up heading off with him.

"I'm busy dad." She told him and Truthfully she was, working on the defences for the full moon.

"This is important, Abi. Your mother and I need to talk to you, now."

Madoc walked in silence.

"If it's about him, I'd rather stay here." She told them.

"Abigail Peyton, now." Faun told her and Abi looked to them, surprised that her mum had used her full name.

She walked with him. "You must really like her, huh?" She asked.

"We climbed this waterfall together so I thought she'd be fun but... apparently now."

"I don't want to talk about it or humans, I want to concentrate on our people."

"Our people are connected to humans, it is important. Do not disrespect me and your mother by refusing to speak to us."

He shrugged, avoiding it.

"I will speak to you just not right now." She told him.

Harrison just raised his eyebrows at her, lost for words and angry.

"No, lets leave it."

Abi went back to sorting out the plans, before Faun had had enough.

"Leave us." She commanded and the wolves who had been there left them alone.

"Madoc," She told him.

"I am so disappointed in you Abigail." Harrison seethed.

"Yeah mutual feeling in this pack apparently."

"Your mother and I are leaving." Harrison decided, then and there. "Since you don't need any guidance and refuse to hear others opinions then we may as well at least enjoy your arrogance before it comes crashing down around you and we have to come and rescue your ass."

Madoc snorted softly at that. "Why?"

"Harrison." Faun spoke up.

"Why do you have a problem with this?" She asked. "I thought you would be happy that he's gone dad, you and Uncle Max don't trust humans anyway, and I refuse to be nice to someone who called me conceited because I wouldn't hit him and who doesn't understand the importance of protecting our pack during this time,"

"Because, yes we have sex, but you are my friend."

"This isn't about him, this is about you. I was iritated by you before and then you have the nerve to refuse your mother and I - so we're going. You do not want our opinion fine, you won't get it." Harrison muttered before leaving, going to his den to book flights.

"Right, well, just drop it then."

"Just like you and mum. Would ask people to wait when you two were busy." She muttered.

Faun followed him. "Well, she's more like me than we realised."

"Okay seriously cheer up then."

Harrison shrugged, opening up the laptop and mumbling. "Backpacking across India sounds like an experience, shall we do that?"

"that is a new one, where would we start?"

"I don't know, I don't care. Let's make it up as we go, I just want to get away from here, need to get away from here before I have a major fall out with her."

"So put up with it."

"Maybe giving her the alpha position at 19 was a bad idea." She sighed. "Strangely I think she's trying to be like us."

"She is disrespecting us, thats what she is doing. It doesn't matter anyway, she wants to learn the hard way instead of listening then we'll let her. Pack your things. We need to catch a flight."

Madoc was silent then

"Harrison we can't just abandon her, she's hurting of course she isn't going to listen to us." She told him. "This is what my. Mother done to me and you saw what that did to me."

She helped him set up the tent when they had a space.

"We aren't abandoning her, we are going on holiday - something we said we would get to do now." Harrison muttered.

Madoc sat down outside the tent afterwards.

"Everything you just said is what my mother did." She told him. "We will go on holiday when this is sorted, so sit there and wait a minute."
