Harrison bit his tongue to stop a nasty retort, slamming the laptop closed and going into the kitchen to get some food.

Madoc glanced to the side at her.

Faun came back after a few minutes and she was dragging Abi behind her and she sat her on the sofa. "You two and I are going to talk and Abigail you are going to listen."

She was watching the sky.

"You notice that people who have life easy are so up tight all the time - why do you reckon that is?" Madoc mumbled.

Harrison leant in the doorway, watching.

"If you're on about the little wolf girl then your theory is not true in her case." She told him. "But I'm not sure why that is."

"Harrison come and join us." Faun told him.

"I'm fine here." Harrison answered.

"I guess it's a self preservation thing."

"Abi me and your dad are getting worried about you."

"I'm fi-." She stopped when Faun gave her a look.

Harrison was silent, too angry to talk still.

Madoc shrugged, closing his eyes tiredly.

"Harrison say something."

She watched the sky.

"I have nothing to say, I' raather not waste my breath

"Seems no man likes it when women don't act how they want." Abi told them as she stood up. "Looms like it wasn't important, so I'll see you guys whenever you come back, because that seems to be the pattern with all the older family members here."

"Thats how packs work Abigail, you dedicate your life to them until you have a child who takes over and then you get to actually live." Harrison snorted. "I had plenty to say to you, then you disrespected your mother and I so now I have nothing because your behaviour is disgusting and I dont want to engage with it. Your mother still does, so she gets to take the lead with this. As for implying I'm a misogynist, I'll ignore that entirely because again, your just behaving disgustingly and I'm not engaging."

"Oh get real dad, every time mum disagrees with you you go on a rant and make her feel aweful about herself because she 'never puts you first', you two did it all the time." She told him. "And keep throwing words at me dad, so far I'm disgusting, disrespectful, vain, stupid, annoying, self obsessed, so if you really think I'm disgusting then we have nothing else to say to each other." She headed out of the den, slamming the door behind her.

Faun groaned. "Did we really fuck up her childhood this bad?"

""No, she is just being pathetic." Harrison answered with an eyeroll, "Putting words into my mouth too, we also haven't argued like that in ten years so again being pathetic. Can we go catch a flight now or do you want to sit around here and be screamed at some more?"

"There has to be something else Harrison." She told him.

"I'm not going to stand here and be screamed at Faun, that was all aimed at me not you."

"You called her disgusting, I#m surprised she only shouted at you." She told him. "But something has caused this, and we need to fix it."

"I said her behaviour was disgusting which is a completely different thing. You need to learn to listen as much as she does."

"Don't start on me Harrison." She sighed. "Are you going to help me fix what happened or not?"

"What even happened?! The human boy left, she didn't like him anyway so I don't get where any of this is coming from!"

"I think she might have liked him." She told him. "Abi has never been like that with anybody, she must have felt something for him."

"It doesn't excuse her treating us with disrespect, doesn't excuse disgusting behaviour. You go talk to her, this is a mother daughter thing and she's upset me so I won't be able to until later if your going to make me do it."

Peyton quietly paced the livingroom, phone to her ear as she listened to it ring - calling Belle.

Belle looked at her phone when it started ringing and she ignored it, putting it in her bag, she was kind of busy with Madoc in his tent.

"I will talk to her and I'm not making you do anything."

"Good," Harrison muttered, moving back into the kitchen and getting himself a drink.

"No, I'm a little busy." She told him.

Faun followed him. "You are my life you know that don't you?"

"Our daughter seemed to imply I'm emotionally abusive so," Harrison answered with a small shrug.

"Sounds important," Madoc hummed when the phone began to ring again.
