The Secrets of Llawnech

"Nice to meet you both," Rose hummed in greeting, standing up so she could curtsey to them. Immediately intrigued by the accents.

Alicia smiled softly as she watched her niece, before she and the mother of the princess got into a conversation.

"I did not believe we would be meeting someone as beautiful as you." Alex old her, Marcus remained behind him, keeping silent.

"I'm not interested in flattery," Rose answered politely, looking from him to his brother before asking them both. "What are your interests?"

Alex seemed a bit surprised that she decied to speak to his brotherm but he encouraged him forward. "I like to ride horses and read."

Rose smiled brightly at that. "Oh, any particular style of riding or do you enjoy all?"

"I'm a horse riding jockey." He told her. "And I play polo."

"My father used to be a jockey, I dressage competitively." Rose told him happily.

"I think I've watched you a few times."

"You have? That's.. that's embarrassing."

"It shouldn't be, you're good."

"Thanks - I wish I could say the same about you but uh, I don't attend many professional races. What - what was your name again, sorry?"

"Marcus." He told her.

Rose just gave a small nod at that, "Well... would you like to go and chat somewhere quieter?"

"That sounds nice."

"I do not know your view but I find big crowds rather too much," Rose hummed, reaching over to take his arm."lets go to the stables? If you don't mind the mud."

"Sounds good to me." Marcus told her.

Rose quietly headed out of the room then and toward the stables.

"I told her not to leave this room with any of them," Gwen whispered to Hayden with a frown.

"I'm so clumsy in this dress," Emma mused to Hayden. "Its too big."

"When has she ever listened to us?" Hayden asked her playfully.

"She's got guards with her, she should be fine." Alicia told them as she walked over, she was fanning herself with a little fan, the room suddenly becoming too hot at the minute.

"So, tell me more about yourself? Your brother seems very... confident - Oh, I hope I dont come across as rude to him." Rose grimaced once they got to the stables, approaching her fathers stallion and smoothing it.

Gwen smiled warmly at Hayden's joke before nodding to Alicia, asking her quietly, "Are you okay?"

"Probably, but he's a nice brother so don't worry too much."He told her." What more. Do you want to know. "

"Anything you are willing to share at this stage..."

"Do you need to step out of the room for a moment? Get some fresh air and cool down?" Gwen asked.

"More like the lady has caused me to be unable to think straight." He told her.

"I have a pet fox at home."

"The lady? Which one?" She hummed, glancing around.

Gwen nodded, taking her sisters hand and holding the door open for her.

"You." He told her.

Alicia followed her as she fanned herself and she breathed a sigh of relief as the cold air of the corridor helped her to feel better.

"Thank you for looking after her up there, your going to be such a great mother for your little one." Gwen hummed.
