Aria turned to look at her. “Hey Hermione, how are you?”

"I'm great, how are you?"

She shrugged. "You know, same old, same old." She old her, moving back to look a the goal posts.

"Yeah?" she asked softly, tilting her head curiously at her friend.

She nodded. “Be thankful you’re not a pure blood.” She told her. “My parents are setting me up to marry Blaise Zabini.” She sighed.

"Blaise? Arranged marriage? I-is that what that was all about?"

She nodded. “Yeah, dad told Draco yesterday apparently Professor Trelawny saw some things that didn’t sit well with them.”

"What did she see? What did he say?..."

She shrugged. “Draco won’t tell me.” She told her. “Don’t get me wrong, I’m not upset that Blaise is happy to marry me I mean he is good looking a bit of a jerk but good looking and his family have a good position in the pure blood world, but I don’t love Blaise.” She told her. “I’m happy just existing I don’t need someone else for that.”

"He is a jerk but is he one to you? Is he being nice to you.. like you deserve? You should be able to be with who you want.. who you fall in love with. We're only in our third year, we have lots of time to figure all that out. Or at least we should."

“Blaise is nice to me but I don’t know if it’s because she’s dracos best friend or not.” She shrugged. “I mean it’s nice to have someone nice to me, he lets me just be well me.”

"Okay, that makes me feel a little bit better but that still doesn't make it right."

She nodded. “Are you waiting for me brother?” She asked. “Surely you would like to celebrate his win?”

"I actually came over to make sure that you were alright. We made plans to meet up after dinner.. we don't want to seem suspecious at all. Tell him I'm very proud of him?"

She nodded. “Will do.” She told her just as Draco walked over and some of his team mates followed. “You know Grainger the amoun my of time you spend with my sister is starting to seem like an obsession.”

Hermione smiled in thanks. When Draco and his friends arrived she scoffed lightly. "We're friends. It's what friends do or do you not know what it's like to have any?" So sorry, Draco but they had to keep pretending!

“He knows more about friends than you ever well you pathetic little mudblood.” Pansy sneered, draping her arms around Draco like she normally did but Draco didn’t react just seemed to be trying to hide the smirk at her remark off his face.

"Aawww, is that the very best you can do? Calling me names that I've been hearing for three years now. I'm so very sad," Hermione rolled her eyes. "I'll talk to you later Aria."

Aria nodded. “See you later Hermione.”

She nodded, turning on her heel and walking away just like that.. her eyes did catching Draco's for only a split second. If they could see her as she walked away they would've seen she was trying not to smile or laugh.

Draco let his eyes meet hers before she walked away and he walked in the opposite direction with Aria.

She met up with the others in their common room.

Harry was grooming hedwig and he smiled at her when she came in. “Did you check on her?”

She nodded. "I did and she says she's alright."

He nodded. “Good,”
