Harry Potter....The Story That Never Happened....For Magical Fans to RP

“Mrs Grainger you need to leave.” Snape told her, his tone showing that he was not taking any chance of an arguement from her. “If you love Draco you would go.”

"Not until someone tells me something. Anything. Why... please... I-.. it's been a week, Professor. A week and he won't even look at me. Why?" Hermione was fighting back tears because she could tell this had something to do with the Dragon but she didn't understand why Draco didn't want her near him.

“Because he’s not safe to be around.” Snape told her. “You don’t know what Draco is capable of right now, he could kill you and not even realise it.” He sighed. “Im trying to make a potion to help him but it’s not possible right now.”

"Why? What's going on? If it's so unsafe then why is he here? Why is he so damn close to me and I can't be with him..." Hermione knew he was close, it was like she could somehow feel how close Draco was and as much as she wanted to walk closer she didn't, she actually stepped back.

“Because here he can’t hurt anyone.” Snape told her, just as there was a howling sound nearby, and soon some werewolves came out of the bushes near them. “Miss Grainger behind me.” Snape told her, if she was to get hurt now it would not do any good to Draco.

Hermione actually did listen and moved behind him, however she also pulled out her wand.

“When I tell you too, we need to leave.” Snape told her. “Draco wil be fine but we need to go.”

Hermione only nodded but she still looked like she wanted to cry.

Snape used his wand to give them a chance to escape. “Go, now!” He told her pushing her in the direction to run.

She listened but only because of Draco and her love for him, turning and running.

As they reached the edge of the forest there was an almighty snarl, the werewolves turning around to see a large black dragon making its way out of the trees towards them, it’s eyes a shining grey almost like a glitter ball.

Hermione made her way out of the forest but she turned at hearing the snarl, "Draco.." she whispered.

Snape put himself between the dragon and werewolves and Hermione, watching as the wolves all bowed down to the dragon before they scarpered. When it was only them left, the dragon continued to walk towards them.

Hermione stayed back like she was told but she didn't seem scared at all, her eyes looked on the dragon. "Draco.." she whispered. "Oh, Draco what happened.." she bit her lip trying hard not to cry.

“Severus move,” the voice came from Aria who had managed to get away from their friends when she freaked out at feeling Dracos pain. “You’re too close to her.” She warned and she walked over to her brother but even she looked scared of him. “It’s okay, she’s safe, you did a good job, you need to let him turn back, it’s done.”

"Draco, it's alright. I'm alright.. come here. It's okay. Change back.. or.. or don't.. it's alright, I trust you. I love you, Draco." She spoke softly, her dark eyes trying to meet his shining glittery ones.

Aria looked to her. “Our parents did this, they pushed him too far.” She explained. “We are sorry we have been so distant, we had to keep you all safe, he hasn’t got control but he can learn to.” She watched the dragon run off, coming back after a few moments as Draco, he looked battered and brushed the changing forms taking a toll on him as he slid down the tree he leant against until he hit the floor.

Hermione looked like she was going to cry as she watched this. "Cam I.. go to him?"

Aria nodded, looking to Draco who looked to tired to stop either of them and she also walked over.

Hermione walked over and sat down right beside him. "Come here, it's okay.. I'm here. I'm here and I'm okay..come here if only for a minute.." she whispered, opening her arms to him.

Draco almost fell into her arms resting his head on her shoulder he was tired and physically drained his body couldn’t move.

“It’s okay, we still love you.” Aria told him.

"Hi, my Draco," she whispered, wrapped a gently arm around his shoulders and kissing his head. "I've missed you so much. I love you more than anything.. you're still all mine."

“I missed you too.” He whispered. “But I couldn’t risk it.” He told her. “I couldn’t risk you.”

Aria looked to them. “Draco I think we need to come clean now.”

"I trust that whatever you did was what you had to do but I really don't understand." Her voice was still soft and gentle, all the while she was lightly running her fingers through his hair very lovingly.

“If I told you you wouldn’t want to be with me anymore.” He told her. “If I told you, in the end you might have to choose between me and your friends, I could t do that to you.” He told her.
