She looked at him and in truth she didn’t know if she was okay, but she nodded. “It’s been a hard few days.”

Hermione pressed herself against him, her fingers working on removing his tie and opening buttons.

“I don’t know where to start.” She told him quietly, her eyes brimming with tears, whatever had happened had scared her that much was clear.

He stopped walking so he could wrap his arms around her. "Lets go to the RoR so we can talk in private and you can tell me whatever you want to..."

He pressed a kiss to the side of her head. "Whatever happened, it's going to be okay.."

She moaned his name softly, biting her bottom lip.

Aria nodded, looking up at him. “How do you know?” She whispered

Draco nipped her skin harder that he nearly broke skin

"Because we're together," he told her.

She whimpered softly but not enough to pull away or anything. "Draco.." she whispered, her fingers tangled in his hair as she pressed herself against him, her breath hitching in her throat.

Aria smiled softly. “I wish I could be as confident as you.”

At hearing her whimper he stopped his kisses pulli mg back as far as the tree would allow.

"I'm not always confident."

"Shhhh, no, come back here," she whispered tugging him back by the front of his shirt. "I'm good. I'm promise. I'm not hurt." She nuzzled her head against his neck.

“It’s not me.” He told her, his eyes weren’t his own this time, they were the eyes of the dragon, just the dragon being present meant this was more than just a nip. They had been apart long enough the animalistic said wanted to make sure that he marked her in case they were apart again so no one could take her.

Aria smiled sligjtly. “You sound confident.”

"Yes, it's still you. Talk to me.. what's going on." She cupped his cheek gently, starring into his glittery eyes. "My Draco. My Dragon. You're mine."

She smiled softly, before she sighed. “The past week has been hell, my parents found out about Hermioke and Draco and tried to get him to break the bond on his end, he refused.” She sighed. “So they played on his next weakness, me…I was cursed six times before I started to scream…” she watched the floor. “Then he came, he offered Draco everything to join him, a dragon is valuable to whatever side it’s on, the only thing that Draco asked for was my safety and Hermiones, but to do that he paid the price.”

“And you’re ours, he wants to make you, to stop anyone else from taking you from us.” Draco told her, his eyes flickering between the two - him and his dragon. “I’m sorry, I didn’t want him to ask for this.”

Ron gently cupped her cheek when she started talking. "I can't say I blame him for protecting you. That's a brothers job." He gave Draco props for that. "What are you saying though?"

"Explain it to me? What does he want? Will it help sooth the two of you?" She gently ran her fingers through his hair.

Aria looked to him. “If I tell you promise that you won’t be mad.” She whispered. “Draco took the mark and became his followers and when he told him Hermioke would need to do it…I took her place.”

“He wants to mark you, to show that you’re ours, it’s a bite that becomes a scar that never fades, to show that you belong to us.” Draco explained. “To do it would mean that you have no choice, you’re with us and that’s it, we do as you say, we can’t be apart, your emotions are felt by me and if you returned the mark you’d feel mine too there is no privacy for you.” He told her, he hated that this was where it had to be said that saying it out loud made him more of a monster than before.

"You?.. to keep Hermione safe?"

Hermione listened in silence like she always did. Taking only a moment to process what he said. "Okay. Yes. I'm already yours. If this is what it will take to help calm you both, yes."

“He knew more about Draco than we thought, he hated him until he revealed that he was her bond, I couldn’t risk Draco losing his life.” She told him, moving to roll her sleeve up to reveal the dark mark, she kept her eyes trained to the floor waiting for his rejection.

“Hermione no,” Draco told her, he appeared to be having a war in his own head at this point, to the point he almost sounded desperate for her to reconsider. He didn’t want her hurt.

"Why? Draco if this will ensure that we stay together.. if it will calm you both.. why not? I'll be okay.."

“Because I refuse to hurt you.” He told her. “I refuse to make you bleed Hermione.” He told her, he knew he would have to eventually but he hated the idea of marking, he hated that she would have no privacy from him, that her life would change because of him.

"Draco.." Hermione cupped his cheeks pressing her forehead against his. "I love you so much. Why can't you let me do something to help you for once, hm?"

Ron tried hard not to he was upset by it. He understood that she was doing it to protect Draco, to protect Hermione and that.. he couldn't go against. "So.. what happens now?"

“I don’t know…what do you want to happen?” She asked.
