“I’m trying to explain myself.” He told her. “I’m trying to explain that I lost everything too and I’m glad that you’ve got settled I really am, I wish I could settle that well.” He told her. “So like I said forget I said anything and go back to your settled life, I’ll get over it like you suggested.”

“I’ve already told you why!” He told her.

"Wow what do you have there? A new little friend?" Frankie asked smiling at his daughter.

Nate smiled watching all the kids.

Ana leaned her head on his shoulder.

Rylee nodded a tiny bit. "Please.."

"I think you're silly..." Sophia whispered with a small shake of her head, taking another bite of the chocolate bar.

He held a hand out to her so that they could walk together.

He held her close

Lily smiled softly. “Froggie.”

Hayden watched their son and she smiled at how happy he looked

Rylee placed her hand in his.

"A froggie? Oh, my.. and what are you going to do with the froggie?"

Nate smiled proudly.

“I put him back.” She told him. “But i wanned to show you daddy.”

He held her close as they walked.

She smiled softly.

Frankie smiled. "He's a very nice and lucky little froggie. To have a little girl that will put him back with his family."

Rylee kept close to his side.

“So tell me your thoughts?”

Lily nodded and she ran back to the pond

"Given what I am Max.. that makes a lot of things more difficult.." she whispered.

Frankie got up and went with her, he loved spending time with their daughter.

He nodded listening to her.

Alice smiled softly as she watched Lily bring him to the waters edge, holding his hand, pointing out little fish and tadpoles and even a newt.

Frankie knelt down at the waters edge beside her, holding her small hand in his own as he listened to her.

"Half the time I can hardly manage to stay in a solid form long enough for anything important..."

Lily continued to talk

Max nodded. “Okay, maybe there’s a way with magic that can help with that?”

“Maybe it is best if I just go.” He told her. “I am sorry though.”

"You're the amazing one," Sophia told him.

Frankie listened to her.

Alice said that she would do her best to help us.

“According to you I’m the one being an ass here.” He reminded her. “Why did you come back for me?”

Lily eventually ran out of things to tell him

Max nodded. “If Alice has promised her help she usually delivers.”

Rylee nodded her head.

He smiled. "Are you having fun?"

He nodded. “Is there anything else on your mind?”

Lily leaned into him

He stopped to look at her. “Say that again.”

"Yes, yes."

He scooped her up onto his lap for cuddles.
