He watched her, he never thought that she would say it back

She snuggled into him

Max nodded

"I'm sorry..."

He held her close.

"We could go back and forth with this all day." He mused. "When are all of these people back for you to socialise with them and annoy me less, hm?" he asked lightly.

"I'm going to collect flowers," She whispered, placing the dirty cup in the sink as she walked out.

“What are you sorry for?”

She stayed close

“I love you too.” He told her before she left

"I know." She mumbled, pausing in the doorway. "You said before I left."

“Just making sure you know.”

"Because you never take my word on it," she whispered, shrugging her shoulders. "I'm not sure. I don't even know where any of them went."

"Always being so complicated."

He was proud to her father.

"Go find them," He encouraged quietly. "I'm fine here."

Alessia slipped out of the house then, closing the door behind herself.

"Find them? You want me to go out.." she waved her hand towards one of the windows. "There?"

"I do,"

He stayed at the house and he went up to his room

“Not necessarily.”

Lily smiled at him

"Alone. Without you." Sophia seemed very conflicted about this.

"No? You don't think so?"

Frankie smiled back at her.

“I don’t, I think it feels complicated but maybe it is just easy.” He suggested. “If Alice can help you remain solid for longer then we do that first the rest we can work out later.”

Lily smiled. “I love you daddy.”

She nodded. "Alright."

"I love you too, Princess."

He looked to her. “I just don’t want you stressing about it babe.”

Lily smiled

"It's our future, Max. Something I may not be able to give to you if there isn't a way."

He smiled back.

“And if that’s the case we have other options.” He told her. “If we can’t have children that’s not a deal breaker for me.”

She kept her smile she loved spending time with her dad

"..But you want children.." her voice was soft and her gaze dropped onto the ground.

He was glad to be spending time with her.

“Of course I do, but it doesn’t mean that it has to be my own blood relation.” He told her, bringing her closer as he explained. “We could adopt and I’d be happy.” He told her. “As long as it was something that you wanted to.”

Lily went back to playing in the water

He kept a close eye on her, making sure that she was safe.

Rylee leaned into his embrace as best as she could, focusing herself not to flicker in and out right now. "I- I want us to be happy together."

Lily was pretty safe just playing with the fish in the water

“We will be.” He promised

Rylee had all the faith and trust in him.

He couldn't help but he protective of her.

Lily moved to sit in the bank her feet dangling in the water.

Max smiled softly. “As long as I have you I’ll be alright.” He told her and he looked so serious about that.

Rylee looked like she was about ready to cry at his words, like she never heard anything so sweet before.

He moved closer to her so he knew she was safe.

Lily looked at him, Max had helped her to take her shoes off earlier. “Daddy, is everything going to be okay now?”

Max smiled softly as he noticed the look on her face. “Hey no tears babe, I e got you.”
