Cain himself jerked at that, twisting to face Scarlet to try and determine whether or not she was lying. Ian had been so startled that he was struggling to focus enough to reply.

"A guy, a girl, it doesn't really matter. I'll probably break them before the night is out. Faye and I are twins, she could handle it, I could handle her, some stranger isn't going to be able to...to hold that weight."

"Sirius did pretty well, didn't he? And he has similar problems to you. Scareth, please. You have a beautiful baby girl and she needs you. If you truly believe that you can't do anything for her I will kill her."

Lucy had woken up because of their talking, the only indication the fact that her breathing was shorter and because she had blinked her eyes slowly open.

She looked at him and it was easy to see that she was telling the truth.

"Give yourself a bit of faith Alarick, if she can't be a substitute then let her be a distraction until Faye is home."

Scareth noticed that she was awake. "Go back to sleep Lucy." He soothed her.

Cain slowly set Hayden down on the floor before he dropped him before walking to Scarlet and crowding her up against the wall, kissing her deeply and thoroughly, hands fisting in her hair.

"I know how broken I am. Inflicting that on someone else would be far too awful. I'd need more than one substitute, unless this person was exceptionally good at...damage control."

Lucy lifted her hands, opening and closing her fingers slowly at him, wanting to be picked up.

Tuesday fell silent, just watching them.

She kissed him back, her hands moving to knot into his hair pretty quickly.

Scareth watched his daughter and he sighed, picking her up.

"If our son wasn't here I would have you against this wall right now." Cain pulled away from her mouth to growl it softly in her ear.

Lucy pressed a hand against his face, brow crinkling as she tried to form words, Mommy, not happy, want be happy. She patted his cheek. Happy Being psychic, she could channel dead people.

"Lucy, I didn't understand a word of that."

"I can sort that." She looked at Hayden. "Hayden, go and find Auntie Vivian." She watched him walk off.

Mommy wants be happy? Lucy sounded confused, since she wasn't sure why Scareth didn't understand and she sent a very blurred image of Aria.

Cain immediately tore her shirt off, too impatient to deal with the buttons before moving to tug on her jeans.

"Ok that I understood." Scareth kissed her forehead. "She will be."

She slid her jeans off before she ripped his shirt off him and kissed his chest, moving to her knees as she kissed lower.

Wants you be happy. Lucy smiled at being understood, patting his cheek again, focusing on something past his shoulder only she could see. She was suddenly startled by Tuesday making a scuffing noise when she shifted her weight.

Cain tangled one hand in her hair, the other resting on the wall behind her as he watched her almost lazily, breath hitching slightly.

Scareth nodded. "She already knows my answer to that." He looked at her. "There is someone that you should meet properly Lucy."

She undone his pants and moved them out of the way as her lips moved past his waist and she pleasured him that way.

"Either way, go out meet someone nice, just take a night to have a distraction."

Get to see mommy now? Lucy didn't understand that Aria was actually dead and thought that was what Scareth meant.

Cain shifted his hand so it was his forearm braced on the wall, his hand in her hair drifted to brush her cheek as he groaned, forehead pressing to the wall as well.

"Are you seriously suggesting I go out tonight just to get a quick shag or am I just reading too deeply into it?"

Scarlet smiled slightly. "You ok with this?"

Alarick snorted. "Just the way you called it a distraction made me think of it like that."

Lucy blinked up at him almost questioningly, still absently petting his cheek, sometimes scratching gently at his cheek because she was trying to get his hair.

"Perfectly fine," Cain groaned it out, moving to hold her shoulder tightly.

"Good, because I'm not going to stop yet." She done it slightly rougher, occasionally using her teeth.

Scareth looked over at Tuesday and gestured for her to come over.

"I noticed."

Cain made a louder noise, hand tightening sharply on her shoulder before he moved it to the back of her head, fingers knotting straight into her hair.

Tuesday hesitated and then stepped closer, just out of Lucy's sight, waiting for either Scareth to move, or for proper permission.

Lucy was still staring almost adoringly up at Scareth, hand moving across his face so she could gently grab at his bottom lip.

"Wouldn't be against a one night stand though." Alarick twitched. "I still don't like your suggestion of having a substitute or a replacement though."

"Then how do you feel about a distraction? Because if you use a girl or guy here as a kind of distraction in that sense then I can guarantee that most of the girls down here won't say no."

He tapped her hand to get her to let go. "It's ok mom."

Scarlet smiled slightly, carrying on pleasuring him.

"What, and have one every night for the next three hundred sixty five days?" Alarick laughed weakly. "Maybe I'll just sleep for the next year and not wake up until I'm needed."

Lucy grabbed at his lip again but was distracted at seeing Tuesday when she leaned over Scareth's shoulder and so almost slapped Scareth's face. Her eyes widened as she stared before she remembered who Scareth said it was.

"As much as I like this Scarlet..." Cain trailed off before he managed to focus again. "And as much as I want this, I also want much more."

"Relax Lucy, it's ok." He looked at Tuesday. "Do you want to hold he mom?"

"You can do what you want to Alarick."

"I held her when she was born." Tuesday reached over his shoulder to touch Lucy's cheek and she shied away into Scareth, scrunching her face up because of how close Tuesday's hand had been to her eyes.

"For you to be screaming my name while I have you against this wall," Cain purred.

"I suppose suicide isn't included, huh?" He asked bleakly.

"That can happen if I could be bothered to stand up." She told him teasingly.

"I know." He looked at Lucy. "It's ok Lucy."

"The floor works perfectly fine too," Cain replied. "Or I can literally drag you up by your hair or shoulder and force you to stay up."

Lucy just gave a quiet, confused whine.

Tuesday grimaced, not used to a baby being frightened of her.

"In about 2 hours."

"Hey, come on Lucy, it's ok."

"Kinky." She told him playfully.

"Do I need to get dressed or am I fine like I am? Don't suppose I smell like a dead body, do I?"

Lucy grabbed at his shirt, hiding her face against his front with another whine.

"I think I understand. I'm not immediate family and my energy signal is different. It's scaring her." Tuesday offered quietly. "I could be wrong though."

"Or I'm just impatient. Now make a decision or I will."

"You're fine."

"You're probably right." He held Lucy carefuly.

"Fine I'll stand up." She moved and got up.

Alarick nodded. "I'm going to lie down and try to calm myself down before going out then."

"Did you need me to leave?" Tuesday stepped back and Lucy relaxed against Scareth, cooing softly.

Cain moved his hands to lift her up the wall against him. "If you don't want this, I'll still be able to stop."
