"Trust me Jeremy." She told him as she kissed his cheek.

"You don't know what the heck this guy can do, Charlotte,"

"I'm not saying he doesn't care about you... for now. Kol cares about things briefly. You'll be just a phase he went through in a few years time. So will his family, he'll sit down and laugh at himself for giving a damn about them and then he'll go off on his own for a decade or so, then repeat the cycle. It's the way he's always been."

"There's nothing else I can do to get you to trust me Nik, I don't know what else you want me to do."

"No I don't, but please Jeremy, don't worry about it right now."

"I'll be fine with that," Abigail replied with a small shrug, clearing not taking the bait Olivia was throwing out to start an argument. Simply not bothered by it anymore, or if she was then she was a lot better at not showing it.

"Nothing," Klaus replied, "It'll just take time, that's all so lets stop talking about it because you'll just get upset over nothing."

Jeremy shook his head, "Just leave me alone for an hour, Charlotte,"

"But you wont be, like I wasn't the first few times." Olivia shrugged, the very sharply jabbed Kol in the ribs with her elbow. "Come on lazy ass, get up."

"Give me another hour, or another day or something." Kol groaned sleepily. "And either get in so you're not sitting on the covers or go away." he added as he tried to shift but couldn't move properly because Olivia was preventing the covers from shifting.

"I'm not sure your girlfriend would appreciate that."

"Like I said before, you can't be with someone when you can't trust them. It doesn't work like that. Just think about that." She told him quietly and stood up to walk around the park, rocking Vanessa gently to try and get her to sleep.

"Ok, well I'll be sitting in the living room if you need me." She moved away from him, and she mmoved to sit on a sofa in the living room and she started her homework.

"Let him rest, he needs it," Abigail told her, adding in a whisper, "Can you leave so I can sit with him, please? Even if I am just a phase, at least let me enjoy it while it lasts. I mean, you've probably been with him all day, right?"

Klaus just groaned, rolling his eyes and getting to his feet. Entering the house and sitting on the sofa, "Maybe I should just leave for a while, destroy her trust in me and see how quickly she can suddenly get it back." he grumbled quietly to himself

Jeremy nodded and watched her leave the room

"I came around a few hours ago to see if he was up for a bender, but I found him like this..." Olivia shrugged and rolled off of the bed, slipping her shoes and jacket on. "Tell him to call me when he's feeling better," she added before leaving.

"Trouble in paradise?" Rebekah asked as she joined her brother on the sofa,

"Will do," Abigail whispered, watching her go before taking her shoes off and moving the covers so she could lay down beside Kol. "I hope you don't believe them, Kol, I hope you know I wouldn't hurt you - ever." she whispered quietly.

"Thanks to Kol," Klaus grumbled quietly, "Tatia is going on about how I don't have 100% trust in her, a relationship can't go without trusting one another, she feels bad for leaving but she apologised and she hasn't left since so why don't I trust her, I should think about that, she walks around with Vanessa." he summarised quickly.

"She has a point, you can't really be with someone if you don't trust them. But I get where you're coming from too. I never understood why you let her come back and forgave her so quickly after she left when Finn died." Rebekah told him, "If you think that the way to resolve this is by heading out of town to give her a taste of her own medicine is up to you."

"I don't know what to think at the moment. My family have a pretty good case against you, but then my head's telling me that there's no way you could've done it." Kol mumbled sleepily as he rolled over to face her.

"I see her point aswell but I've told her my trust in her is getting better every day she is still here. It'll just take time and she's throwing a hissy fit over it." Klaus replied, adding, "I want to, but it'll just make things worse at the end of the day and it's selfish because of Vanessa."

"I see how it looks dodgy, I do," Abigail whispered quietly in understanding, "But I would of joined in with that drinking game if there had been someone else to get the drinks on the go, the first round I got was fine and how would I be able to spike it in like less then a second. I don't even know what vervain looks like, Kol, I wouldn't even know how to spike it and even if I did why would I? Why would I knowing you'd get hurt, you know how I feel about you, heck, even if I did you heard what Olivia said, I wouldn't have the guts to. Every thing they have against me there is an equal reason as to why it wouldn't - difference is the why I wouldn't reason is true." she told him, her voice hinting with a little bit of desperation. "You know your family don't like me, they would say it was me, wouldn't they? Please believe me, please listen to your head."

Charlotte left him alone like he had asked and she was hard at wor with her homework.

"Take Vanessa with you then, she technically did it the first time round." Rebekah pointed out, "But whatever you decide to do, -wherever you decide to go, make your mind up quick."

"Good idea," Klaus whispered quietly, "I'll go.. Only for two weeks, but it should be enough to prove a point."

Jeremy picked his phone up and texted Mr. H: Meet me in the forest for those new weapons you were on about?

Rebekah nodded, "Your choice. Just remember that this could backfire. She could either end up getting your point and understanding why you don't trust her completely; Or she could end up hating you and breaking up with you."

"For now I don't know who to believe. Can we just drop this until I can think straight? Please?" he asked quietly, yawning soon after.

"That's why I'm not sure about it," Klaus responded quietly, "But what's the other risk, arguing more and her ending up breaking up with me anyway?"

Abigail gave a soft sigh, nodding softly and running her fingers through his hair. Pressing a gentle kiss to his forehead and whispering, "Okay, get all the rest you need, Kol."

Kol nodded, "Thank you," he murmured, before closing his eyes and dropping off to sleep again.

"Do what you think's right. And if you don't want to leave, or you can't do it, just find someone to flirt with." Rebekah suggested. "I doubt she'd break up with you over it, but she'd get the point that it's not that easy to forgive and forget."

Charlotte eventually gave up on her homework and she put it on the coffee table.

I knew you would see sense. He text back.

Abigail gave a small sigh, watching him sleep for a few moments before closing her own eyes.

"The second thing sounds better," Klaus mused quietly, "Yeah, I'll do that."

Kol wrapped an arm around her after a few minutes. "I trust you," he said quietly. "I'll just have to find out who actually spiked the drinks."

Rebekah grinned smugly. "Good, I'd rather you didn't leave. It'd be annoying putting up with Tatia in hysterics."

Abigail let out a quiet sigh of relief, moving a little closer to him and opening her eyes to look at him, "Thank you so much... I'll help you... I have something else to ask you, too, but it's just a silly little insecurity that Olivia implants deeper in my mind every time I speak to her and can wait until you are feeling better."

Klaus just laughed quietly, "You'd miss me, really," he teased.
