Klaus walked silently

Once she left school, Abigail instantly headed to see Kol. Knocking on the front door and waiting patiently.

Tatia sat down on one of the benches, taking Vanessa from her pram and sitting her on her knee.

"I see Nik hasn't killed you then." Rebekah said as she opened the door to Abigail. "Kol's busy sleeping off the vervain you slipped in our drinks- we've worked it out."

Klaus sat beside her

"I thought he didn't want to kill me anymore," Abigail mused with a shrug, frowning a little bit at the last thing she said, "What're you on about? I never done anything. Why would I put vervain in the drinks? Kol's my boyfriend, why the heck would I hurt him?"

"Mm," He hummed

Jeremy just shrugged, answering the phone with a; "Hello?"

Tatia leaned into him with a sigh.

"Well I have no idea, but the one round you got in happened to have the vervain in it, the amount in would probably have dessicated you instantly, and you weren't participating in the game we were playing. You're our only suspect at this moment in time."

Klaus kissed her cheek

"I got two rounds," She corrected, "The first one I got was fine, I wasn't joining in because I was timing it - I would of joined in but then no one would of been able to get more drinks as quickly since Tatia had her kid so couldn't really carry a tray over - I would of joined in if I could. If it were me, how the heck would I have managed to get the vervain into the drinks without being noticed and I don't even know what the hell vervain looks like, honestly, yet alone how you'd even spike a drink with it." she shook her head, "But, of course you'd think it was me, you and Klaus aren't really that fond of me, are you? I'm sure Kol doesn't believe it, he'd know I wouldn't do something like that,"

"Yeah I'm at home," Jeremy replied, "But I'm done. What will it take to make you leave me alone?"

"You believe me when I say I wont leave don't you?"

"Kol didn't know what to think," Rebekah shrugged,

"I believe you won't leave me today," Klaus replied quietly.

"He knows I wouldn't do something like that. Compel me to tell the truth, if you like, you'd get the same answer. I didn't do a thing." Abigail told her firmly before asking, "Can I see Kol?"

"I've tried." Jeremy responded simply.

"Like I said, he's asleep in his room. I don't think you're gonna like who you find up there with him though," Rebekah said vaguely as she stepped aside from the door.

"You still don't trust me do you?"

Abigail just rolled her eyes, heading up the stairs and silently walking into Kol's room, closing the door behind herself.

"I don't trust anyone really, Tat, I trust you more then most though."

"I'm surprised Rebekah let you up here, since they're all convinced you're the one who did this to Kol." Olivia was sat on Kols bed next to a sleeping Kol, she was in the middle of painting her nails and didn't even look up when Abigail came into the room. "I don't think you did though, no offence, but I don't think you have the nerve or the wit to do take an Original down."

Tatia sighed, "Relationships end because there's no trust Nik. How is ours going to work properly if you don't fully trust me?"

"I won't take offence to that because I didn't do it, and, you're right I wouldn't do it even if I did want to." Abigail replied quietly, "I didn't do it though. I see why they think I might of, but, I really didn't. I care about Kol too much to hurt him like this. I want to help them find who done this and watch them kill them, or help kill them even."

"Trust gets effected when you leave twice in a row, the second time whilst you were pregnant, gone months and not picking up the phone." Klaus replied simply, glancing to her, "Don't act like it's me being unreasonable."

"Part of the deal was that you wouldn't hurt her so long as I dealt with the others for you," Jeremy reminded him

"I've tried to," He repeated.

"I can't believe you really care about him though. I don't even know why you put up with him," She shrugged, putting the bottle of nail varnish down on the side and inspecting her work. "He only cares about himself, and very few others, he's obsessed with his looks, he's rather brutal at times too.... Hell, I don't even know why I'm still putting up with him to be honest."

"I made a mistake, a huge one, when I ignored you the second time round. And I regret it more than anything else, but I apologised Nik, and I promised I wouldn't leave again. I could've left you when your mother showed up, gone off on my own. But I didn't, I stayed with you."

"Well, I do," Abigail replied, "And, I believe him when he says he cares about me, too. I accept him for him and that's all you need to know."

"And you made me trust you a little more when you stayed. It takes time, Tat, you can't just apologise and expect me to trust you completely again." Klaus replied.

Jeremy just let out a deep sigh, sitting down on the counter and putting his head in his hands.

"No it won't," Jeremy whispered quietly.
