Glad you finally understand that, but, that isn't the point I'm trying to make. Klaus text back simply, obviously not doing very well at ignoring her. The guilt of it getting to him.

Abigail got to her feet and used her fingers to get her hair to look better before heading out of Kol's room, looking down the hallway before heading down the stairs and into the kitchen. "You look like your feeling better,"

Damon suddely apeared behind him as he pulled the trigger and he grabbed him by the neck, then taking the gun off him. "What do you think you're doing Jeremy?"

What other point is there to make Nik? Please, just come home, unless you've decided to take off? In which case you're no better than I am.

"I think I finally slept the vervain out of my system." Kol muttered as he pulled away from the bloodbag for a moment.

"That's good," She smiled, sitting down on a seat beside him, "Want to go investigate who spiked the drinks today?"

Klaus ignored the text once again.

"I need to kill you. I need to keep Charlotte safe."

"You really want her to hate you?" Damon asked him. "You try and kill me or Stefan and she will hate you Jeremy."

Kol shook his head, "I'm leaving that till later, it's like half two in the morning or something."

Tatia waited by her phone for a response, and when she didn't get one she almost started crying. Her taking the absence of a text meaning that he had in fact run off to prove his point. She sighed and put her coffee back on the table, before standing up and heading up the stairs.

"Only?" She asked, glancing to the clock on the wall and laughing quietly, "Weird, I feel wide awake."

After about 3 minutes, Klaus entered the house once again and headed up to his and Tatia's room. Giving up, the thought of hurting her making him feel too guilty.

"That's because we slept for ages." Kol reminded her with a laugh.

Tatia entered the room a few minutes later, having being in Vanessa's room checking on her. Upon seeing Klaus she quickly wiped away the few tears that were on her face. "Forget some of your stuff did you?" she asked, trying to sound harsh but she failed as her voice broke halfway through speaking.

Abigail smiled a bit at his laugh before nodding a bit, "Yeah, I guess. You were quite restless for a while though."

"I wasn't planning to leave because it'd be pushing it too far, that was my initial plan but then Bekah suggested me making another girl like me by flirting with her to break your trust in me, then I was going to apologise and see if you could suddenly have a hundred percent trust in my once again straight away. I tried and I can't do it. I can't hurt you." Klaus told her simply.

"It's what happens when you get drugged with vervain." Kol shrugged, "You want to sleep but you can't,"

"I thought you'd left, I thought you weren't coming back." She said quietly, trying not to cry again.

"So you would rather have her hate you than her dead? Either way I die, so I don't like them odds."

"You looked funny sleeping with a pillow over your face," Abigail teased light-heartedly.

Klaus sat himself down beside her and pulled her into his arms, holding her close.

Falin wrapped her arms around Damon from behind, "What's happening?"

"Yeah, I'd rather her hate me then have her dead. That's what love is." Jeremy responded simply.

"Hey, you want to ruin her life and end up dead then do it." Damon told him as he slid his arms around Falin. "The usual, Jeremy's trying to kill me for 'love' apparently."

"I'm protecting her!" Jeremy snapped at them, "Bloody hell, if I don't do something then you, Stefan and her will end up dead - probably my sister aswell. If I kill you then at least I can keep Charlotte safe."

"I won't let you kill Damon," Falin told Jeremy quietly.

"Well you try killing me and we will feed your sorry ass to Elijah."

"How did I look funny? I was just sleeping?"

Tatia buried her face in his chest and cried quietly, "I'm sorry for leaving, I didn't know it made you feel this bad. I would never have left if I'd known it'd make you feel how I'm feeling now." she managed to get out.

"With a pillow... On your face." Abigail replied with a small shrug, giving him a small smile.

Klaus just hugged her silently, running his fingers through her hair soothingly.

"He's killed me before I don't care!" Jeremy snapped, "I'm just doing what I think is right, okay, and you aren't coming up with any other solution for me, are you?"

"Yeah, which means you couldn't properly see me, so how did you know I looked funny?"

"I'm sorry," she said again, before pulling away from him, wiping the tears from her eyes. "You shouldn't be comforting me, I made you feel like crap when I left then I accused you of being just as bad as me. You shouldn't be able to stand the sight of me right now."

"Sorry Jeremy, but to be honest most of me doesn't want to help you and instead just shoot you with your own gun."

"You're face didn't look funny, I just found it funny you had a pillow on your face. You're missing the point here, forget about it,"

"Bekah told me I shouldn't of forgiven you in the first place, but," Klaus shrugged, kissing away a tear she had missed. "I love you, you apologised so I forgave you. That's what you apologising does, makes me forgive you, it doesn't make me trust you completely again though.. You understand now?"

Jeremy just made a frustrated noise, pulling a stake out of his pocket and, within seconds, shoving it through Damon's chest

Kol just rolled his eyes, draining the rest of the bag.

"What can I do to get you to trust me Nik?" She whispered, "I hate knowing that you expect me to leave again. Especially now I know how it feels. I hate myself for putting you through that."

Damon gave a choked noise as he pulled the stake out. "That's it, you're dead Jeremy."

"No, you are, that stake had vervain on. It's running through your blood stream right now." Jeremy responded, backing up a bit, "By pulling the stake out you've just made your own death slow and more painful." he told him, the vervain on the end of the stake being potent enough for Damon to simply collapse before over the course of a week slowly killing him.

Falin wrapped her arms around Damon at that, keeping him on his feet.

Abigail just gave him a grin, telling him quietly, "Olivia said to text her when you were feeling better, by the way. I know she's your friend and all but.. I don't like her. I feel like she's trying to take you from me by putting a load of insecurities in my head."

"Just don't leave me, just give me time, just don't have a go at me for not trusting you completely." Klaus explained quietly.

Kol just snickered quietly. "She likes playing with people, it's her favourite game. Take no notice of her."

Tatia nodded and walked over to the dresser, she quietly changed into her pyjamas before turning back to face Klaus. "Want me to stay in one of the spare rooms for the night?"
