"I wouldn't do anything even if I did know. You were a nightmare to deal with after you killed them, I'm not going to put myself through the same. That would be stupid."

Klaus shuddered a little bit at the memory, "The only way you'd get around it is by making someone you hate do it, I want it dead too just not yet. Not until I get what I need."

"How do you know this cure isn't total bull crap that Alexander made up to keep 'Bekah interested in him?"

"We'll find out if it is soon," Klaus shrugged

"Well that's up to you, I'd personally rather have them all killed,"

Klaus rolled his eyes before simply heading to his own room to get some sleep

A couple of hours later, around midday, Tatia came upstairs to grab Vanessa who had just started crying.

"Try and keep your brat quiet will you? Some of us actually dislike the noise." Kol told her as she past his room, smirking when Tatia told him to shut up as she went into Vanessa's.

"You don't like it then move out," Klaus told Kol with a smirk, adding, "The house would probably be a lot more enjoyable to live in if you didn't live in it." Before following Tatia into Vanessa's.

Tatia frowned when she saw Klaus. "Sorry, I probably should've gotten to her sooner," she said as she picked Vanessa up from her crib and began to gently rock her. "I know you were trying to sleep."

"I was starting to wake up anyway," Klaus replied with a small shrug, sliding his arms around Tatia's waist from behind.

Tatia smiled as he held her, leaning into him slightly.

"She's grown so much," Klaus mused quietly.

"It tends to happen," Tatia pointed out with a laugh

Klaus rolled his eyes a little bit, "When do you think she'll start learning how to talk?"

"Not for a while Nik, she's only around three months, most babies start talking when they're around eight months, and even then it's just basics."

"But she was quieter then most when she was first born, maybe that means mentally she's older." Klaus suggested quietly.

"Maybe," Tatia nodded, "But she's also part Vampire, we're lucky she's grown at all really."

"Mm," Klaus gave a hum quietly, "If she wasn't part hybrid she probably wouldn't of,"

"Probably," Tatia adjusted Vanessa, resting the baby's head on her shoulder. Vanessa opened her eyes and blinked a few times, smiling when she saw Klaus- the first time she had done so.

"Now don't you have your mother's smile," Klaus mused quietly, smiling back at his daughter.

"She's smiling at you?" Tatia asked curiously, gently moving Vanessa so she could see her. "Well that's a first." Tatia was also smiling.

"That's what your smile looks like," Klaus told Tatia happily.

"No, that's definitely your smile."
