"Mm, suppose." He replied with a small shrug, "And one day it won't get happy again like it normally does. But, that's life."

Abigail snuggled into him a little bit and closed her eyes, seeming more willing to sleep with him there.

"What do you mean 'one day it won't get happy again like it normally does'?" She pulled away from his chest to look at him with a frown.

Kol carefully wrapped an arm around her.

"I don't know, I just don't think it will." Klaus replied quietly, "We've been lucky so far, with Malvolio killing Esther before she was about to kill you and Nessa. We're very lucky she hasn't come back yet."

Abigail yawned and closed her eyes

Tatia sighed, "She'll probably come back eventually."

((Well it's a really rough idea, and you probably think it's crappy, but I could make it so that Tatia actually lied to Klaus about being in a coffin ever since the sacrifice, she'd only been in a coffin for like 100 years or so, [like she was actually made into a vampire but then turned human again for whatever reason or smth] so she was actually around all the time he was mourning for her/getting on with his life without her. And basically to get to Klaus, since she keeps failing at killing him, Esther tells him the truth, which would obviously make him really mad and angry, and break down his and Tatia's relationship for a while- Like I said, really rough and crappy))

"We will be." Tatia said with certainty.

"You need too laugh more often, it's a nice sound. Just like when you smile, it's real nice when you smile." Abigail grumbled sleepily, beginning to drift off.
