Damion smiled slightly at her laugh.

"It was probably nothing but I'm fairly awake now."

"Someone else has come through."

Rochelle kissed him gently before she went to go and check on Kaiden.

"Ok." She kissed him gently. "I moved Rosalie back to her own bed."

"Ok..."

Damion watched her go, staying sat on the sofa.

Kaiden had finished his ice cream and was just licking his spoon clean when she came back through.

"Were you uncomfortable leaving her in our bed?"

"It's Kenway," Nidawi suddenly said, fingers twitching absently. "He's not a danger. Not right away."

"Did you have enough?" Rochelle asked him.

"Just a bit, that's a big drop for her if sshe fell off."

"Alright."

"Mmhmm. Is daddy okay?"

"I suppose it is."

Nidawi rubbed the back of her neck gently, an almost nervous gesture.

"Why so nervous?"

She smiled.

"Yeah daddy is fine, do you want to see him?"

"If he can get through, anyone can."

"How much longer will she sleep?"

"He's well enough?"

"Yes Kaiden."

"Until she gets hungry I guess."

"This won't get any worse."

Kaiden held his hands up.

Stefan nodded quietly.

"It will get worse before it gets better."

Rochelle picked him up.

"Doesn't everything?"

Crystal kissed him softly.

Kaiden snuggled close.

"A lot of people might get hurt."

Stefan gently kissed her back.

"I love you." Crystal told him.

"I noticed."

Rochelle carried him in to see Damion.

"I love you too."

"S-Should I go?" Nidawi failed at keeping the worry and fright at that thought from her voice.

Damion had lay back down on the sofa, eyes closed, but he looked at them when they came in.

Rochelle knealt on the floor beside the sofa Damion was on and she held Kaiden on her lap.

"If you want to go."

"I know."

Kaiden reached for Damion who sat up and scooped him up.

"If it's for the best..."

Stefan kissed her forehead.

Rochelle smiled watching them.

"As long as you don't get hurt and come straight back."

She smiled.

Kaiden wriggles around until he was comfortable of Damion's lap, curled against his throat.

Nidawi gave a hysterical giggle before abruptly cutting herself off. "I'm with what the Fae call an outsider and I've defied the queen's wishes. I wouldnt be coming back."

"If you want some more sleep, I'll be up there shortly."

Thane sighed. "Well, like I've always told you, if this was something that you had to deal with, then you have to deal with it and not worry about me or anything close to that ok?"

Rochelle watched them.

"Promise?"

Nidawi started picking at her fingers. "They'd, um...p-probably give you one of my hands or something. To remember by, they like messing with those from this realm. Or an organ. Dristle likes doing that." She twisted her fingers together tightly, went as if to say something else and then just silently ducked her head to stare at the floor.

Damion ran his fingers gently through Kaiden's hair, letting him settle.

Stefan kissed her head. "Promise."

Rochelle moved to sit on the coffee table watching them.

Crystal smiled softly. "Good."

"I don't need anything to remember you by, people I've met I can't forget."

After few minutes, Kaiden decided to wriggle away and wander further into the house.

Stefan nodded quietly. "See you shortly."

"I can make you forget if you want me gone," Nidawi said quietly, almost inaudible.

Rochelle watched him go.

"I don't want to forget."

"See you shortly."

"Reckon he's gonna be okay?"

"It'll be easier." Nidawi took in a shaky breath and added quietly, "You can have my wings now, if you want. So many properties I can't even list them. Power, wishes, whatever you want. I-I won't need them dead."

Stefan nodded and slipped around her after another quick kiss to go to the kitchen.

"Yeah, I think he will be fine."

"You keep them...But can I touch them this once?"

She watched him go after she kissed him back.
