The Queen Is After Me

"How much longer do we have to wait?"

He was about to answer when the door suddenly opened and a man in a shirt and jeans walked in. "0.2 seconds."

"So sorry I'm late Jamie." The man told him and he looked at them, and he looked young, handsome and still quite smart in his shirt and jeans. "You won't believe the traffic this morning." He moved to sit in a chair. "So this must be Emelia."

Emelia gave the man a smile and nodded, "Mhmm, that's me."

"Well ma'am if I might say you are one Southern Belle." He smiled, his Texas accent thick as he spoe. "Wel ma'am I'm Johnathan, but please call me John."

Emelia just gave a small nod, "Nice to meet you, I guess,"

"So Jamie, I heard you had another bit of trouble." John told him.

Jamie looked at him. "Yeah....And?"

"Jamie you know that you've been sent here to talk about this, so let's cut the bravado for your girl and get to the point of all of this."

Emelia snuggled into Jamie and rested her head on his shoulder gently.

Afterwards, the session had finished and Jamie was walking to his car with Emelia.

Emelia followed him quietly.

Jamie held the car door open for her.

Emelia got in.

Jamie shut the door when she was in and he walked to the drivers side, getting in.

Emelia watched him.

"Were you affected by anything that you heard?"

"No, why?"

"Just thought that I would ask."

"Did anything bother you to talk about with me there?"

"Nope."

"Good... I still don't get how talking about it like that helps you, do you feel it helps you?"

"Not at all, but John is a cool guy."

She nodded.

He looked at her. "What are you thinking?"

"Nothing,"

"Are you sure?"

She nodded.
