After a few weeks of practically shutting herself off from everyone and researching and tracking the witches that had kept Astrid, Tatia slipped back into the house in the dead of night, quietly shutting the door behind her and hoping that nobody was up. She was covered in blood splatters and looked pretty worn, making it obvious she'd been out to destroy the witches. She walked into the living room quietly as she wiped her hands off on her jeans.

Astrid was on the sofa, curled up in the corner of it sleeping lightly. When she heard Tatia enter the room, she blinked her eyes open with a yawn, "Hi mum," she greeted quietly.
