The Vampire Diaries

Tatia switched out the light before going up after her, making sure she went into her room before slipping almost silently into her own.

Klaus was fast asleep in bed.

Tatia smiled slightly at seeing him, before heading into the bathroom and showering off the blood.

Klaus blinked his ryes open at hearing the water.

Tatia came back into the room a few minutes later, towel wrapped around her as she quietly moved around to get changed, not noticing Klaus was awake.

Klaus watched her quietly.

"Sorry I woke you," Tatia said quietly when she noticed he was awake. She then drew the covers back and for the first time in weeks, she slipped into bed next to him. For the past few weeks she'd fallen asleep at the dining room table whilst researching.

Klaus slid his arms around her and pulled her against him, kissing her forehead gently and whispering quietly, "Don't worry, where were you tonight?"

"Decimating the coven that held my daughter." Tatia replied quietly as she snuggled against him, resting her hand on his chest. "It was a tragic accident, an electrical fault that happened to blow up the house with the entire book club inside." she added afterwards. "That's what the news will say anyway."

Klaus just gave a nod, "You should of let me come with you," he whispered, adding, "I'm glad you didn't get hurt."

"I was fine, there was very little resistance, took me all of two minutes to snap their necks." She explained quietly, kissing his jaw softly.

"Mm, I imagine you suprised them."

"Yup, I went with the scary element of shutting off the power first, banging a few things around to make it all satanic like, then I popped up out of no where and tore out the coven leaders throat with my teeth before I killed the rest of them. You'd have been impressed with my theatrics, I'm sure."

Klaus laughed quietly, "Well, you'll never know now because you didn't let me even watch."

"Next time a coven pisses me off I'll let you come with me then," She laughed in return

"If you don't stick to that now I'll be upset with you," Klaus replied.

"I will do, I'm promise."

"Good," He whispered with a smile, brushing his fingers through her hair. "You look exhausted, up should probably get some sleep,"

"Is that your way of saying I look like crap?" She laughed, "I feel fine,"

"I never said that, I just said you look tired, that's all." Klaus replied quietly. "You never look like crap."

"And now you're sucking up, what've you done?" She teased lightly

Klaus smirked a little bit at that, "Nothing, nothing."

Tatia shifted then, propping herself up to look at him. "What've you done Nik, you're smirking."

"Go to sleep, Tat. You've been out murdering people all night, you need sleep." He replied, turning his back on her and closing his eyes as he tried to get back to sleep.

"Well I can't sleep now, not after that!"
