"Bet things look scary when you're that small."

He nodded.

"Do mice see in colour?"

He nodded.

"I always thought they saw in black and white."

"I guess its just me, because as a dog I can see in color to."

"Mm,"

He nuzzles her hand.

Lilly smiled and put him on his bed when they got back, "Time to shift human,"

He shifted human.

She sat beside him.

He looked at her. "About earlier, im sorry for making you upset."

"Was hoping you wouldn't bring it up..."

"I know, but I had to tell you I was sorry."

"What for though? Telling me why you won't do it. Whatever. Apologising wont change anything."

"Fir upsetting you." He moved away from her so he could get the bullets out.

"But it doesn't make a difference so there's no point." Lily replied, hitting his hands away from his wounds and whispering, "Don't be silly, you'll hurt yourself. I'll get them out."

"As you wish."

Lilly just sighed and rested one hand on his shoulder as she got the bullets out of him.

He stayed very still.

"Done," She whispered.

"Thank you."

She just shrugged.

He kissed her forehead before he moved away and got a fresh shirt out of his wardrobe and slid the other one off.

Lilly watched quietly.
