"I did." she admitted quietly. "And I've been selfish to our babies by not resting sooner, but I just hated feeling like such a bad mom to Mia and Ness by just sleeping all the time." Tatia admitted quietly, the first time she'd admitted needing rest to Klaus.

"Girl of my dreams agreed to marry me, of course I'm happy."

"Vanessa understands, and her and myself have been trying to help Mia understand to. You need to think of the babies, rest more often. It's not like the girls are alone, I've been spending time with them."

Astrid just shook her head and walked a little bit closer to him, "I'm your dream girl? Seriously?" she asked with a quiet laugh.

"You accept me for who an what I am." Kol nodded.

"I know, I just don't want them to feel like they come second to the twins… but I am gonna try and rest up a little more, I want the twins to be as healthy as possible."

"Course I do," She agreed quietly, "It's not really that special of a thing to be able to do though, pretty boy, you say that as if it's an impossible thing to do."

Klaus just gave a nod, and kissed her cheek.

"Most girls don't accept that their boyfriend is a narcissistic, mirror loving blood sucker with an aversion to people."

Tatia leaned her cheek towards him quietly.

"Everyone's got their faults," She whispered, brushing her thumb over his knuckles gently, "You're perfect to me, you make me happy. M'so happy I can call you my fiancé now."

"I should've proposed a lot sooner, but I just wanted to make sure I was solid in how I felt, and that I could cope..."

"It's okay," She replied with a small laugh, "I wasn't expecting you to, anyway, if I'm being honest. Like, ever, not that it would of mattered if you hadn't. The fact you have though has just made me so happy, everything feels like it's perfect now."

"It just feels like the right thing to do, not that it'll change how I feel about you, or anything between us, but I plan on keeping you around forever and marrying you marks that and lets everyone else know." Kol explained with a shrug, holding the door open for her when they got home.

Astrid just gave a nod of understanding and agreement before heading inside quietly and up the stairs to their room.

"Astrid's fed, she's not feeling too good about it but I think she'll cope." Kol stepped into the room to tell Klaus and Tatia quietly.

"Shall I head up now and break the sire bond or do you want me to leave it until tomorrow so she can sleep?" Klaus asked him.

"Go break it now, get it over and done with, she wont have to worry about it and she can sleep properly then." Kol said quietly,

Klaus nodded and got to his feet, heading out of the room and upstairs.

Tatia waited on the sofa for him to come back, whilst Kol went to the kitchen to get a bloodbag for Astrid in case she needed one during the night.

After a few minutes, Klaus sat himself down beside Tatia once again.

Tatia moved to snuggle against him, resting her head on his shoulder.

Kol headed upstairs and into his room. Kicking his shoes off and pulling his shirt from over his head as he closed the door.

Astrid rolled over in bed and blinked her eyes open to watch him quietly, smiling lightly.

Klaus rested his head on hers.

Kol placed the bloodbag down at her side of the bed on the floor in case she needed it,before shedding his jeans and climbing in beside her.

"Are you not tired Nik? You've been up all day, you deserve a rest baby." she kissed his cheek quietly.

"I'm fine sat here," He assured gently.

Astrid brushed her fingertips through his hair affectionately when he was beside her, whispering a simple, "Sweet dreams, pretty boy,"

"You too sweetheart." Kol mumbled as he closed his eyes.

"You're doing so well, managing everything on your own." Tatia praised quietly. "You're so good to me, letting me rest up all the time."

Astrid closed her eyes once again a moment after him and rather quickly fell into a light sleep.

"Mm, you have the hardest job though. Carrying two little ones inside you. You're doing well ."

Kol slipped an arm around her waist and soon was asleep too.

Tatia just ducked her head a little at that. "I'd say I knew what I was getting myself into, but I honestly didn't. Never in a million years would I have imagined twins again." she laughed quietly.

Klaus just gave a small nod, putting his fingertips under her chin and making her rest her head on his shoulder so he could rest his head on hers comfortably, closing his eyes.

"We can go up to bed if you want love, you'll be more comfortable."
