"I trust your word, it's others I don't trust." Vanessa replied honestly. "Which is why I asked to not be left alone around them, because I don't trust that one of them won't try to off me after what I did."

"You're safe," Nate assured softly with a sigh.

Klaus just laughed quietly.

"Besides, I don't need to creep, you already said yes to what I wanted." Tatia hummed as she closed her eyes and rested her head on his lap.

Vanessa just nodded, lacing their fingers together. "If you say so... You may have forgiven me, but I doubt the others have."

Nate didn't say a word, just led her from the bar and to a small cafe a few streets away.

Klaus just kissed her cheek.

"I love you," Tatia whispered, bringing the back of his hand to her mouth and kissing it gently as she snuggled into him.

Vanessa followed him quietly, staying close to his side.

"I love you too," Klaus whispered.

"So, why the change of heart, angel?" Nate asked curiously.

"My parents telling me I could do better, because of the state I was in when I got home... And I realised that I couldn't do, nor did I want better. I want you." Vanessa whispered.

"I hope so," Tatia mumbled, already drifting off.

"They're probably telling the truth though, angel, you are much too good for me. I'm nothing, not worth you on any terms."

"You should know so…"

Tatia just squeezed his hand tightly. "I was joking, I know you love me, you wouldn't put up with me otherwise."

"Don't say that." Vanessa frowned, "You are everything to me, and I want you, and I want to be with you and I love you. And I'll do almost anything to make up for what I did, anything."

Nate just gave a shrug and pressed his lips to hers gently before leading her into the cafe and pulling her seat out for her.

Klaus laughed quietly.

Vanessa sat down with a small thanks before continuing. "I know you'll probably never fully forgive me or trust me, but I'll never make that mistake again. I'll talk to you about it next time, I'll tell you..." she said quietly, rambling a little.

Tatia just dozed a little in his arms then.

"Stop being silly, it's done now, can't be undone. I've forgiven you, lets move on from it." Nate whispered, kissing her cheek softly before sitting opposite her.

"I just regret it so much, it's one of the worst desicions I've made in my life. And I can't believe that you've forgiven me for it so easily. It broke you, I saw the look on your face. I'd understand if you hated me…"

"You talk as if it were only yesterday.…. I did hate you, for many months." He admitted quietly, "Hated that you never told me about him or her, hated you didn't tell me you were killing him or her, though you were monstrous… but I got over it, still loved you deep down." he shrugged.

"I was scared and I wasn't ready." Vanessa said quietly. "More my own fault than anything, we should've been more careful. But I know what I did was wrong, and I should've told you and at least explained to you why I was doing what I was doing. But then just before I was gonna tell you, you sprung the pack on me, and then your family threatened me and I was terrified." she whispered in explanation. "And I know you probably don't want to listen to, nor believe my excuses..." she sighed. "We can try again though, if its what you want."

Nate just shook his head a little in the negative in response, "Lets take every day as it comes, hmm angel?"

Vanessa nodded happily at that. "I've already moved my stuff in back at your place, if that's okay?"

Nate nodded.

Vanessa smiled, reaching over the table to interlock her fingers with his.

Nate smiled and squeezed her hand gently.

"Thank you, for this chance." Vanessa whispered.

"I could say the same to you, we both messed up, hm?"

Vanessa nodded, gasping as she was suddenly dragged up and away into an alley by Nates younger sister - Ellie - rather roughly and violently considering her small size and her being a little younger than Vanessa. Once in the alley she roughly smacked Vanessa's head off the wall and let her drop. "How dare you come back after what you did!" she hissed at a barely conscious Vanessa, seething angrily as she kicked her sharply in the ribs.

Damon didn't sleep at all, instead when morning came, he was still doing his pull up just for something to keep him occupied so he didn't wake Falin up.

"Ellie!" Nate snapped, shoving his sister violently away from Vanessa and pinning her against the wall, "I've allowed her to come back. Don't hurt her." Before he sat himself down beside Vanessa and slid an arm around her waist.

"Did you sleep at all?" Falin grumbled sleepily as she blinked her eyes open.
