Vanessa laughed a little at that, teasingly kissing down his neck before pulling back.

Caleb: I know you wouldn't he put his drink down and pulling her into his arms

Trinity: soon enough fell asleep beside him

Mia snuggling into his quietly, telling him with a quiet laugh, "My mom said we were lucky dad's real tired and didn't wake up. That wouldn't of been a nice scene."

Leon sighed when she pulled back and shook his head at her with a look of displeasure before he headed up the stairs for bed.

Caleb: shuddered shaking his head He'd probably have tried to kill me.

Vanessa frowned at him leaving, staying downstairs for a while until she was sure he'd gone to sleep, before grabbing her phone and calling her elder sister.

"Tried? He wouldn't of just tried, Cal, the wording of tried under estimates my father." Mia laughed, before whispering, "Lets get some sleep now, hmm? It's late."

"Hey Ness… late night phone calls worry me. What's wrong?" Astrid asked with a quiet yawn.

"Nothing, not really. I just need some advice, I guess. How did you convince Kol to start trying for the twins? How did you help him get past his fears and his insecurities?" Vanessa asked, grimacing a little that she'd likely woke her up.

Caleb: Shh I was trying to be optimistic with my chances he laughed curling her closer Alright M, sleep

"Umm, didn't pressure him at all. Brought it up every few months or made subtle comments to do with babies - mostly joked about how good looking our kids'd be if we had any, offered to look after Hope, Henrik and Cameron loads so he'd get used to having little ones around and when he started looking forward to seeing the three of them and started smiling and laughing instead of complaining whenever they asked him to play I waited until he was in a good mood - slash - tipsy and asked him. As for helping him get over his fears I didn't really do a lot other than what was natural, just assure him he'd be fine, that we'd face any problems that arose together and things like that but his fears never really went away. He still has doubts and is scared of what parenthood'll bring next even now, so it's impossible to get over the fears completely but it's all natural so.…"

Mia laughed a bit and snuggled into him, resting her head on his chest and closing her eyes.

Caleb: twirled some of her hair around his finger

Vanessa just nodded a little as she listened, sighing a little too. "I've definitely screwed it up then." she grimaced. "I think Leon's completely terrified of us having one, because of what happened to his wife when she was pregnant. I basically told him he'd make a good dad and why I thought he'd make one, but I guess in the pass hour or so I've really piled it on him -damn it- " she quietly hissed the last part in frustration at herself. "He said he'll think about it but I think he was just saying it to humour me, I don't think he wants one with me, because I'm not Kali and I'll never be as amazing as she sounds..." she started to ramble a little bit at that, before cutting herself off with another sigh.

"Mm, I doubt he means for you to get that impression. Like you said, he's probably just scared he'll screw it all up somehow because of what he's been through before. Give him a few months of quiet time now, dropping the hints every so often. You'll know when the time is right to ask him again. It's all I can suggest really. Mom'll probably have better advice for you than that, mind, so ask her too."

"You going to get some sleep too?" Mia asked quietly.

Caleb: Yeah soon. he whispered

"I will, when she's not too busy settling dad back in. Thanks Astrid, sorry for waking you up. Night." Vanessa said as she put the phone down. Sighing, she waited a good half hour or so before heading upstairs and into hers and Leon's room. Still just in his tshirt she crept into bed beside him.

Leon just subconsciously slid an arm around her waist and pulled her closer, other then that not doing anything. Fast asleep.

"Not going to run off now, are you?" She asked a little insecurely, "At the beginnings of movies the guys run off after…" her voice faded then as she fell asleep.

"I'm sorry," Vanessa whispered, even though she knew he probably wouldn't hear her. "I'm sorry if you feel like I'm pressuring you into this. If it wont make you happy then let me know and I'll drop it. It's not worth wanting something that'll just hurt you or make you unhappy." she snuggled into him, resting her head just under his and closing her eyes.

Caleb: Never. he whispered tightening his arm around her adding a bit possessively when he was sure she was asleep You're mine now.

Mia slept peacefully against him.

Leon just muttered something incoherent in Ancient Greek but didn't react much more other than that. Fast asleep.

Vanessa frowned a little as she didn't understand it, falling asleep soon after.

Caleb: within a few minutes he had fallen asleep

Around 7:45/8:00 the next morning Leon was putting a bowl of breakfast in front of Holly and pulling a bloodbag out of the fridge for himself. Looking like he'd just fallen out of bed and put an old shirt on half-heartedly.

Mia had woken up about ten minutes ago and was still laying in her bed with her head on Caleb's chest, rubbing sleep out of her eyes.

"Morning my love." Tatia hummed quietly, lookin up at him. Kira and Hope had returned to their own rooms during the night, so Klaus and Tatia were alone.

Holly murmured a thanks and started eating.

"Morning, everything okay?" Vanessa asked, frowning a little at him. "If you're tired you can go back up for a while."

Leon shook his head, "I haven't been up for long, that's all. Still waking up. I'll be fine in a few minutes." he assured quietly.

"Mm, morning." Klaus greeted, sitting himself up and wrapping an arm around her.

"Did you sleep well? Did you have another nightmare or anything like that? You don't look too good Leon, if in being honest, is this my fault from yesterday? Stressing you out?"
