"Hey, now what is the sigh for?" Nevia asked softly with a deep frown, lifting her hand up to rest on his cheek gently. "I've never heard you sigh before.."

"Luci kind of hammered into my mind that you can't feel, sighing is normally caused as a response to emotions. That's all." Nevia whispered, brushing her thumb against his cheek gently.

Atticus hesitated before reaching his arm towards her.

Anastasia gave him no warning and upended the bottle over his arm.

"Business has been rubbish there is no point keeping it open and I wanted to talk to you," She replied with a small shrug, "Wanted to find out what was bothering you without being disturbed."

"Mm," He hummed with grimace.

"Don't keep your arm still, move it about, flex it a bit. The pain will end." Anastasia leaned down to pick up her weaponry again, re attaching them.

Atticus just gave a small nod in response to that. "They're getting suspicious of my sister, y'know, when I was waiting for you I've heard talk. Quiet murmurs as people have walked past."

Nevia lingered in the back room. Making herself a coffee.

Nevia just sipped at her coffee silently for a few moments before looking over her shoulder at him, offering him a gentle smile.

"Then they'll think you know something… safer to keep our noses out of it, isn't it?"

"It'll be okay," She soothed softly, lifting her hand up to rest on his cheek gently, brushing her thumb over his cheekbone. "What're you feeling?"
