Vanessa was silent then, hugging him tightly. "A husband, a chain of restaurants, three kids and yet I'm still not grown up." she said weakly, giving a small laugh afterwards.

"Well you know where the spare room is..." Kol mumbled before going to go get himself another bag.

Henrik nodded, whispering a quiet, "Thank you Uncle Kol," before heading up to the spare room and wandering inside.

"You'll never be grown up, Ness," Klaus laughed.

"The looks part isn't my fault, I have you and mum to blame for that." Vanessa pointed out with a laugh.

Dakota was laying on the bed, on top of the covers. Her breathing indicated she was sleeping, though her arm was resting over her face.

Henrik sat himself down on the edge of the bed and reached over to gently take her hand, whispering quietly, "Come on Kota, wake up. I can spend too long here if I'm going to see my parents before heading back in time for my show."

Klaus laughed quietly, "In mind, I mean though Ness."

"Not my fault, it's my genetics." Vanessa laughed.

Dakota mumbled something blearily, before blinking her eyes open and moving her hand away to look at him with a confused expression. "What're you doing here?" she asked quietly as she moved to sit up.

"Got a while till my next show," Henrik shrugged, simply holding his arms up and offering her a gentle hug.

Klaus laughed a bit at that.

"You can go back to Mia now." Vanessa said, pulling away. "She needs more attention than I do, I'm just whining." she offered a smile before sliding down from the counter.

Dakota moved instantly into his arms, burying her face against his neck.

He wrapped his arms around her gently and tangled his fingers in her hair, ducking his head to hide his face in her hair. "Don't watch any of the music news, m'kay? I don't want you to see me having to act like I don't care about you when really you're everything to me."

"It's fine if you want to whine, Ness," Klaus laughed, "Your mother is fussing over Mia and Astrid'll be around soon to fuss over Mia aswell."

"People already accuse you of having a favourite, don't want to be fueling that by giving me attention when Mia deserves it more."

"If you're already talking about the pictures of you kissing that blonde girl then I've already seen them." Dakota mumbled, shaking briefly against him as she tried not to cry. "You're everything to me too."

"It meant nothing, at all. The girl makes me uncomfortable actually, she puts vervain in her drinks, and her nan is a witch." Henrik told her, adding quietly, "No more watching the news, okay? I don't want you to see anything that'll get you upset. Whenever I'm home, and between shows like this I can come and see you. We can still be together."

"You all deserve it," Klaus sighed.

"Knowing that you're out there kissing another girl, spending all your time with her, possibly falling for her is enough to upset me, I don't need the news." Dakota mumbled as she curled up into him.

"I haven't spent five years desiccating, she deserves it more than I at the moment."

"I will not be falling for her." He denied with a shake of his head, "Never. I love you Kota, why're you doubting that so much."

Dakota just shook her head before moving it, leaning up and pressing a kiss to his lips gently.

Henrik closed his eyes and kissed her back deeply.

"Mm," Klaus hummed quietly.

"How long do you have?" Dakota mumbled against his lips, moving a hand through his hair.

---

"I'll be off then, I'll come back and pick the kids up later on," Vanessa hummed, hugging her father and giving him a quiet thanks before heading out and back home.

"About an hour here, then I have to go see my parents." Henrik hummed.

Klaus nodded and watched her go before walking to Mia and Tatia quietly.

"And how long are we gonna have to sneak around for?"

"Hey Nik," Tatia greeted quietly with a smile.

---

"I'm back and kid free for a few hours!" Vanessa called as she entered the house.

"Probably the rest of my career," He admitted quietly.

"Years?" Dakota sighed deeply, resting her forehead against his.

"I want this to last as long as it can, Kota…"

"Hey," Klaus greeted, "We're in charge of L.J and Kari for a few hours, by the way."

Mia sighed softly at that, "It's kind of depressing how they don't even know me…"

"Great!" Leon called back.

"Well use this time now to let them get to know you. L.J likes playing airplanes, Kari likes reading books and princess stories, tell her a few." Tatia suggested gently.

"I know, I want you to have it all too, it just seems like a long long time..."

---

Vanessa smiled as she hung her coat up and wandered into the living room to find him.

"A few years is nothing when we have forever, Kota," He reminded her gently.

Mia just gave a nod, though she seemed hesitant to I and find her niece and nephew.

---

Leon pulled her down onto his lap, having been sat on the sofa, kissing her gently.

"Karina will probably be downstairs in the basement where we store old stuff looking through the older clothes Rebekah keeps here, L.J tends to not stray too far from her." Tatia encouraged.

"You can go up for a few hours if you want, place'll be silent." Vanessa hummed after briefly kissing him back.

---

"I know, but it's gonna seem like forever waiting for you..."

"I'll visit when I can, and text, you know that." Henrik whispered with a small sigh.

Mia just gave a nod and with some moments of hesitation wandered down to where her mother said Karina would be.

---

"Mm, you sure?" Leon asked quietly.

"Perfectly, you deserve a nap in peace my lion, you've more than earned it."

---

Karina was sat with her brother, giggling as she tried to fit an old 20's dress of Rebekah's on him, though he kept moving and laughing away from the material.

"What if you end up liking this Poppy girl? Even though you don't intend on it you might end up liking her..."
