Soon Finn, Rebekah, Klaus, Mia, Tatia and Vanessa's phone went off with a text from an unknown number threatening to kill Astrid and Kol unless at least two of them came and gave themselves up in return and that a choice needed to be made by sunset. Along with an address that someone would be waiting to meet them at the time and a photo of an outcold Kol and Astrid.

Astrid reached through the bars to Kol, making a small noise of complaint when all she managed to do was brush her fingertips across his knuckles. Swearing as her arm brushed against the vervain covered bars.

"Well I need you and your making out like I don't care."

"Go run off to your mother then," Dakota said almost bitterly, getting up and heading into the bathroom, slamming - but not locking - the door behind her.

After a few seconds there was the sound of the door locking and the shower starting, though it was obvious Dakota wasn't actually in the shower as she hadn't taken any towels in.

"Kol…" Astrid whined softly, brushing her thumbs against his knuckles once again before leaning back in her cell and closing her eyes with a small groan.

Henrik sighed and with a shake of his head got to his feet and headed out of the house , towards his mothers.

Dakota waited until he#d gone before going and knocking on her brothers door a while later. She had a bag slung on her pack which she'd packed in a rush.

"Dakota…" Jordan greeted, his tone surprised as soon as he saw his sister, murmuring a quiet, "Come on in," as he took a step back for her.

"We need to go, leave." Dakota said quietly, looking around as she spoke. "I - I can't. I can't do it anymore. The whole relationship thing was never my forte, and now - he's just going to run straight back to his mother like it was her that lost our baby, not me. He just upped and left. So we need to up and leave before he gets back..."

((I've wanted them together since season one and now it's gonna happen and then she's gonna die and I want to cry Sad

((Same. I reckon that they're either gonna have him get over Elena in time and admit he still loves Katherine when she's on her deathbed, or he's gonna end up killing her so she doesn't die from old age. Either way they're killing Katherine this season :/))

"Hey Rik," Tatia greeted her son softly when she saw him.

"No, no. This is my way of reacting. My aunt and my dad chained me up and poisoned and tortured me for months and months on end. I lost my baby, my daughter, because of it. And then Henrik decides to run away back to his mother, so I get to react however the hell I want to react Jordan! I've been through quite a bit in case you hadn't noticed, and just resting isn't going to fucking make anything better!" Dakota hissed at him, her voice starting off quiet and shaky before it progressed into a shout.

"Dakota lost the baby, yelled at me for telling her it wasn't possible for the witches to bring the baby back, made out like I didn't care and then threw a moody and locked herself in the bathroom." Henrik told his mother quietly.

Jordan shook his head.

Dakota made a noise of anger and frustration.

"Just stay the night here, hm?"

Henrik no." Tatia scolded quietly as she kissed his head. "You can't say that it's not fair at all I've been on the receiving end of a miscarriage and it is awful beyond words."

"We'll you think wrong then. This is the right thing for me, for Rik." Dakota whispered softly. "Never loved him anyway, not really, was just using him for protection." She lied.

"I know you care honey, but so does she. And you're both hurting in your own ways. Dakota just might feel even worse because she wasn't sure about the baby at first, so she'll feel awful about that. You both need to grieve in your own ways,"

"Just sleep on it before going anywhere, hm? You can stay here for the night."

"Then she yelled at me for wanting to come and see you, but she'd locked herself in the bathroom anyway and left me on my own in our room… and I did invite her too, she yelled at me for that. I- I was such a bad dad I never even got to meet my own kid." Henrik sobbed.

Klaus had entered with Tatia's phone, his own pressed to his ear where Mia was ranting in a panic. When he saw Henrik though, he frowned deeply.

"I can't sleep. Haven't been able to sleep." Dakota shook her head before suddenly sliding down the wall to sit down and bursting into tears.

"You're not a bad father at all Henrik, things like this happen, it sucks and it's not fair but it happens and I'm so sorry honey." Tatia said quietly, holding her son to her as tight as she could, giving Klaus a 'not now' look when she saw her phone.

Henrik just hid his face in his mothers shoulder, crying.

"It's to do with Astrid and Kol," Klaus whispered quietly, "Just read it…"

Jordan sighed deeply and sat beside her, pulling her into a hug and whispering, "I'm so sorry short stuff, it wasn't your fault okay? It wasn't your fault."

"She was moving, I cold feel her moving in me. I loved - I love her so much, I miss her and I never got to meet her, it's not fair I never even got to meet her. Why would dad try to take that away from me, why would he do that?" Dakota sobbed into his shoulder, hugging him tightly like a child.

"If they're having marital problems then it can wait a while. Dakota's lost their baby," Tatia said quietly in explanation to why Henrik was crying.

Henrik pulled away at that and wiped at his eyes.

"He does stupid things sometimes, you know that. He's spineless around Aunt Sophie too."

Tatia frowned at that, watching Henrik before turning her attention to Klaus.
