Will You Keep The Secret

This world isn't all it seems to humans. It's a much more dangerous, scary place. Though, with it's danger comes it's adventure, with it's scary beasts or moments of utter despair or feelings of hopelessness comes it's little bit of miracles, loyalties, love.  There's always a light at the end of the tunnel that the humans aren't aware of here, always a chance to make things right (Or destroy things forever) and always the chance for the dead to finally return.

This real world is secret to the humans though, or most of them. Those humans that are aware end up turning into one of the creatures eventually, or being killed by one before they have the ability to even realise what is going on.

This world is full of Vampire, Werewolves, Fairies, Originals, Hybrids, Witches, Wizard, Hippogriffs - you name it, this world has it! More specific, a certain town hidden along the outskirts of an American  state has it.

Of course, the lives of these creatures is tougher then it seems also, there are there own individual dramas and, a more wide-spread problem - hunters. Hunters that kill simply for the sport or fun of it, simply to cure there boredom or maybe possibly for there own personal gain.  

The question is, if you live in this town and are a part of all of this, in anyway shape or  form  - will you keep the secret? Or will you be the end of all these amazing species by helping the hunters, or telling the humans about there existence.

Jessica was leant back against her silver convertible that she had parked at the beach, the sun reflecting in her sunglasses as she lifted her head up to the sky - her eyes closed as she relaxed, though you wouldn't be able to see that due to the sunglasses. The car itself looked expensive and was unusually shaped, an odd pattern painted onto the side of it which consisted of swirls and multiple vine like shapes.

Cuan was in the forest, sat at the food of a tree and making cursing noises as he tried to remove a bullet from his shoulder. He had dark circles under his eyes from lack of sleep and his hair was dishevelled and blood stained, his skin filthy and covered in mud.

Aleshia was sat in her lesson in school, tapping her pencil against the desk boredly.

Mika and Mira were both sitting in a classroom somewhat tuning the teacher out. A sketch pad was sat before Mika on her desk which she was drawing on and her sister had her gaze fixed on something outside the window.

In another seat at the back of the room leaning against the wall as he had his seat turned sideways was Nathaniel his eyes scanning over each person in the room.

Saileigh fumbled with the hem of her shirt mumbling under her breath, a rather large albino cobra snake slithering along at her side.

Avery walked through the forest twirling a flower in her fingers and humming softly under her breath.

Gabriel leaned back on the bench that was set on the broadwalk by the beach his head tilted back and arms folded under his head deep in thought.

Grumbling under his breath Rome kicked at the tire to his motorcycle. "Stupid piece of crap, should've taken the other bike" he muttered angrily.

"Don't beat up your bike, man," Jessica frowned as she blinked her eyes open and glanced over at Rome, "What'd the thing ever do to you? Whatever it is, I'm sure kicking it won't do fuck all to make it any better."

"Ah, fucking shit!" Cuan groaned as he grabbed a hold of the bullet in his shoulder and began to pull it out. Almost withering in pain as he curled in on himself a little bit.

Aleshia glanced over her shoulder, meeting Nate's gaze briefly.

(( Should we say the school kids know each other already? Maybe your guy could be like 'the popular' one and my girl a little less cool? ))

Nathaniel smirked at her when his eyes meet hers moving slightly to tap two of his fingers on the desk in front of him.

Running his hand through his hair Rome glanced in her direction but didn't answer her. Kneeling down he fumbled with something on the side.

Saileigh stopped in her tracks seeing the boy on the ground. "Erm are you alright?"

Aleshia shook her head a little bit in the negative and glanced down at the desk once again. Getting to her feet when the class ended and going to collect her things, sighing deeply when as some girls walked past they knocked the books off of the desk so she had to lean down and pick them up once again.

Jessica let out a small sigh, pushing her sunglasses up to reveal her eyes and push her hair back off of her face as she wandered over and crouched down beside him, "Want a little bit of help?"

"Do I look fucking alright!?"

Chuckling he got to his feet and grabbed his own things stopping only when he saw what some of the other girls did. With a deep glare he grabbed the one girl by the wrist making her stop. "Hey you knocked my friends things down, you should pick them up" he snapped.

"Dunno maybe. I might have stopped to help but with an attitude like that..." Sai replied shaking her head at the boy.

Rome wiped his dirty hands on his jeans and looked at the girl. "Help? You think you can fix it be my guest."

"What's the exact issue?" Jessica asked, tilting her head a little bit to the side as she looked over the motorcycle.

"Whatever, I don't need your bloody help anyway." He muttered, his body withering in pain as he pulled out the bullet it and flicked it away. "Ah.." He breathed in relief, closing his eyes with a sigh.

The girl glared at him initially though seemed a little intimidated at realising whom he was and doing as he was told.

Aleshia stood up then, raising an eyebrow at him.

"It stalls and dies. Knew I should've brought the other bike today" he muttered sighing deeply.

She walked over and knelt down before him. "You should probably get that cleaned up, it'll get infected if you don't."

Once the girl picked the things up he nodded his head at both girls and headed for the classroom door.

"Ah, she's a new one? Used or brought from the factory? You got any documents of what problems she's had in the past if you brought her used?" Jessica asked, glancing to the side at him.

"I'll be fine, don't worry," He replied, shaking his head a little bit in the negative, "Mm'Cuan, by the way, what's your name?" he asked as he closed his eyes.

Aleshia took her things and put them away, watching the other girl run off in embarrassment.

"Neither. I built her myself, been working on her for some time now." Rome answered running a hand through his hair again.

"Didn't say I was worried just said it would get infected" she repeated simply frowning a little. "And it's Saileigh."

------

Nathaniel was standing outside the door leaning against the wall waiting on her to come out.

Aleshia wandered out of the classroom, jumping when she saw him and glancing down at the ground, whispering shyly, "Oh, sorry.... Thank you, for that, you didn't have to do it."

"Ah," Jessica hummed, "That's impressive, it's goregeous. You must of put your blood, sweat and tears into her, hm?" Jessica asked, raising an eyebrow at him in question.

"Odd name,"

"Try speaking up some kid, don't let those girls walk all over you" He told her spinning a pen around between his fingers not replying to her thanks.

"Mm something like that. Clearly she's not ready yet though" he grumbed.

Saileigh rolled her eyes at him. "What and yours isn't?"

Aleshia lowered her gaze to the ground at that and shook her head a little bit in the negative, "I've tried, ti just makes things work. It's easier just to get on with it, to be honest."

"Mm," Jessica hummed, looking over the motorbike and offering, "If you can start her up, I'll follow behind you in my car. I'll help you look her over where you live?"

"Mines Irish." Cuan shrugged, "Means 'Little Wolf'."

"And mine is Hebrew meaning 'Princess'".

Rome raised an eyebrow at her. "Seriously?"

"Nah not anymore." He grinned at her slipping the pen into the pocket of his jeans.

Aleshia just lifted her gaze once again to glance at his face, though soon she lowered it asking hesitantly, "What do you mean; not anymore?"

Jessica nodded a little bit in response to that, "If you want, I know we just met but it's totally cool if you don't want to. It's just, you seem a little bit like you're in a jam and I know a thing or two about motors."

"Mm, pretty."

"Just what I said. Start sticking up for yourself or those girls, they'll get much worse especially since you're talking to me" came his reply a moment later.

Saileigh smiled lightly. "Thanks I suppose. Anyhow you really should get that cleaned up."

"More like frustrated with it all" he admitted. "Alright yeah sure why not, the names Rome by the way."

"Am I talking to you? Are we going to continue talking after this... you've never really spoken to me before, sometimes I imagine you don't even know my name." Aleshia pointed out quietly. "Things get worse when I stick up for myself."

"Same difference," She replied with a quiet laugh as she stood up straight, whispering, "You start her up and then lead the way, Rome," before wandering over and getting into the car.

"It'll heal by itself, trust me.. it's happened before."

"Heal by itself?" She looked at him as if he were crazy.

"Actually I do know you're name Aleshia I just choose not to use it."

----

Rome smirked at her. "And what I don't get your name in return?" He called to getting on his bike and messing with the gears a bit.

"Like a paper cut does." Cuan nodded.

Aleshia smiled lightly when she heard her name leave his lips, whispering weakly, "I never thought you really ever noticed me, you're always so... you. I'm just me."

Jessica brought her car up to the motorbikes side, laughing as she replied, "No, love, does my name matter. I'm just willing to help you out, that's all, you don't need to know who I am."

"Yeah in days or weeks" she rolled her eyes shaking her head. The snake slithering through some brush not far from them.

Rome let out a low sigh hearing her. "Alright then princess it's this way" he teased once he got the bike started.

Nathaniel chuckled seeing her smile. "If I'm not me then who else would I be?"

"Don't call me Princess!" She called to him, having to raise her voice over the sound of the engine.

Aleshia just laughed a little bit at that, shrugging subtly and whispering, "I don't know, maybe some supernatural creature?"

"You'd be surprised." He smirked, getting to his feet.

Rome just laughed loudly taking off down the street at top speed.

Jessica smirked, revving her engine and speeding off in pursuit. Reaching over to turn the radio up so it was almost deafeningly loud, laughing gently to herself.

"Mhm," Cuan muttered, adding quietly, "I should get going," as he pulled himself up to his feet using the branch and went to wander off.
