<3 Married At First Sight </3

Jayson shifted to slip an arm around her shoulders lightly pulling her against his side.

"So do you turn into an actual wolf? Or a half human, half wolf thing?"

Paige made an exasperated noise and then shuffled forward faster than he was moving in order to headbutt his hip almost playfully.

"Marriage is supposed to be about more than appearances."

((Hey Tif, the guy is called Leonidas, but he's just under 700 years old because of a curse on his family where he can't die unless he finds genuine love and someone loves him back, so he's seeing this as his last chance. Is that okay? ^_^ ))

"Of course, I don't know you well enough to compliment your personality though, do I? Give me time to get to know you, then I can tell you nice things about your personality, hm?"

The question catching him off guard made him laugh. "Actually both. It's rare honestly. If I was to change now I'd just be a wolf."

Ian stumbled not expecting that. "Hey!" He laughed reaching out to lightly touch her.

"How can it be both?" She asked with a small frown.

"That is completely dependant on how long this marriage lasts." Gale smoothed his shirt down as a wayward breeze caught the edges of it.

Paige nudged against him, gentler this time, pressing the side of her body against his as if she were a dog.

"I'm no exactly sure really... My mom is a wolf and my dad is a werewolf so maybe that's how." He shrugged not really seeming all that fussed with it.



"Kinda cute. Strange but cute." Ian laughed smoothing his hand along her side gently.

"That's…. Odd. You don't talk muc about your dad."

"Well, I don't know about you but I'm hopeful."

"Not much odder then it is changing." He shrugged again. "He left several years ago."

"Why?" She asked with a small frown.

"My brothers death tore my parents apart."

Paige huffed and swatted him gently with her tail before taking in a deep breath, shuffling uncomfortably.

"I am a part of this due to my sister. Whether or not it results in a positive outcome remains to be seen."

"What actually happened to him, handsome? Can you tell me?" She asked quietly, resting her head on his chest gently.

"So you aren't actually into it?" Genevieve asked with a deep sigh, "Well, that's a good start…"

Jayson let out a deep breath. "Uh... He was taken..."



"What?" He laughed quietly. "Change back if you want, do what feels comfortable."

She remained silent, just letting him talk then.

"I'm not here because I don't want to be, if that's what you're thinking. It's just coincidence."

Paige trotted a few steps away and looked over her shoulder, as if expecting him to follow.

"Ah," She whispered quietly in response to that, giving a small nod and growing silent and glancing to the vicar whom looked a little impatient now. Glancing down at her feet as he began to talk.

"I sent him home...and he was taken. I didn't even know until I got home and my dad was asking me where he was..."

Paige finally led him to a river, where she made a strange noise that was meant to convey excitement as she leapt for the water.

Rosalin frowned, pressing her forehead to his gently.

Rosalin whispered a quiet; "I do," when they got to the vows, shoulders tensing slightly when she heard the people sat watching whisper to each other, shifting her weight uneasily.

Ian walked behind her looking around at where they were. A light laugh escaping his lips as he watched her excitement. Kneeling down on one knee in a patch of grass he watched her closely.



"Almost two weeks later he was found. He'd been killed..." He muttered quietly.

"It wasn't your fault," She soothed gently.

"I do," Gale repeated quietly when prompted.

Paige found the deepest part of the river she could but she was still only half submerged. However, she looked delighted and couldn't stay still, rolling in and twisting in strange ways to get her gills under the water, tail whipping back and forth with her happiness.
