"I'm twenty, will be twenty one in about five months time." Genevieve replied quietly, "How soon is shortly? Do you celebrate you're birthday - I know some people don't, I don't celebrate mine."

Ian frowned a bit. "That's gotta suck. Are you more comfortable in that form then, by water?" He asked wondering if they'd end up moving to where she lived so she'd be able to live.

"Nothing. I-I wasn't told anything about you" Amber admitted chewing on her lip. "All I was told was that they had found a match for me." Her eyes let up with happiness when he asked if she wanted to hold him. "Could I?"

Ian laughed. "Well there's a lake behind my home so that should work right?"

"That's alright none of us know about the other. At least I didn't think we were told anything, we're you?" She questioned holding her arm out for the snake.

Hester slowly slithered forward and then loosely coiled around Amber's fingers, after further coaxing. He was about half a foot long and only as thick as thick as a finger. His head was hovering by her wrist, tongue flicking curiously.

"Yeah. It's part of the property where my home is, so no ones there but myself and well Amber she has a house there as well." Ian explained somewhat.

Amber nodded her eyes fixed on the snake. "I've never actually held a snake before, am I doing it right?" She asked quietly not wanting to scare it.

"Yeah," Rosalin nodded, "Of course they are, they always have been."

"I'm not good at just giving information out," She admitted quietly, "Uh, I'm really not as interesting as you seem so far. I've told you about my mother, she died about four years ago. Her name was Jackie, Jackie Bernard. Was a sergeant, I can't remember what regiment she was in though, I was never really interested in any of that. I sometimes wasn't nice to her about it at all, I missed her, she missed a lot when I was growing up and I kind of held it against her which I feel awful about now. My father walked out on me and my mother when I was a few months old so the closest person I had any kind of relation with was my grandmother who looked after me. I'm nothing supernatural, just normal human - as far as I know, I don't know much about my dad so I could be half something I suppose. I researched Ancient History and Mythology in college though, got a degree in it. Um, I like the colour light brown and I have a pet budgie but I've always wanted a bigger bird. Umm.. I don't know what else to tell you other than that, what else you want to know - oh, I'm allergic to peanuts, that might be important."
