"They wouldn't tell me shit!" He snapped at the doctor, narrowing his eyes. "They wouldn't even tell me when I could come back in the room, I forced my way into here! They wouldn't even tell me anything about her baby, I had to find her myself too!" he hissed, eyes changing colour briefly as he vamped out though he soon managed to hide it. "It's not fucking on! No one told me! No one told me anything and I thought she was going to die! They wouldn't even tell me if she was dead or no-" he cut off then, feeling his voice break. Mumbling after a few minutes, "I want to make a complaint."

"She will, she will don't worry." Scott whispered, "We won't lose her."

Kits just stepped into where the baby was being kept, picking her up and holding her close when she saw her.

"I understand... I'll get you a form."

Ciaran just nodded in response to that.

Scott watched.

"I'm sorry this happened to her in the first place, I'll have a full investigation set up."

"Your mummy will get better for you. Don't worry princess, you'll have a cuddle from your mummy soon."

"She's beautiful," Scott whispered.

"You better fucking had." He hissed.

The doctor just nodded, checking the breathing tube before standing back and writing notes. "I'll have you updated as frequently as I can."

"Yeah she is... So so beautiful like her mum."

Ciaran just nodded subtly in response to that.

Scott nodded in agreement. "I wonder what Siob was thinking, for names,"

"We'd have to ask Ciaran."

"I won't lie to you... She's very ill. But she won't die."

Ciaran just nodded subtly in response to that as he studied his sister.

"Yeah.."

"Not that he'd tell us..."

"Once again. I'm sorry."

Around a week later, two days or so after being removed from the breathing tube, Siobhán began to stir in her bed, whining a little as her eyes fluttered open.

Ciaran whom had only moved from her bedside to spend time with his niece, moved quickly when Siobhan woke and pulled her into a close but gentle hug, smoothing her hair down and whispering, "Siob. Thank fuck. You scared me so fucking much."

Siobhán groaned quietly. "What? Baby? Where?...what?" She slurred and rubbed her eyes.

"She's okay, don't worry... She's safe and sound, don't worry. Don't fucking worry."

"She?...girl...?"

"A little girl, with black hair. Pretty eyes." He whispered quietly in response to that, "Would you like me to go and get her? Carry her in?" he asked.

"Yeah... No... Don't go..."

"I won't be far... Just getting your baby for you, I bet all she wants is for you to hold her. I won't be long, I promise, not far away. I'll be back in a few minutes."

"Please don't leave!" Siobhán sobbed before her eyes slid closed again and she slumped back into a sleep.

"Okay, okay," He sighed, sitting down beside her once again and taking her hand. "I'm here Siob."

Siobhán stirred awake again a few hours later, eyes fluttering open.

"Hey there baby, hey." Kira greeted quietly as she held her granddaughter. "I'm so glad you're awake."

Ciaran had left the room then, having never spent much time in the same room as either one of his parents. Currently he was sat in the waiting room, holding a coffee in his hand and just staring at it in silence. Yawning every so often.

"How're you feeling, Siobhan?" Scott asked gently, taking her hand.

"Hit by a bus..." Siobhán mumbled. "Where's - "

"Right here." Kira whispered as she handed the baby over to Siobhán, who took her instantly and held her close. Kira then took her phone and drop called Ciaran as a signal that Siobhán had woken up.

She woke up hours ago. I've already seen her. Get the fuck out of the room and then I'll see her properly. I refuse to be in the same room as either of you. Ciaran text his mother back before putting his phone back into his pocket and having a sip of his coffee.
