Hunters and the Hunted

((I've got two psychology, philosophy, ethics and then a 2 1/2 hour English exam next Friday, and then I'm working all summer from the 21st so I don't really get a break either lol))

((I've finished work now. Was too stressful on my health to do on top of exams))

((I need The money or I wouldn't be out every weekend haha , plus I need to save up if I end up going to uni an then there's my car fund so yeah, I need to keep working haha, speaking of, I start a 10 hour shift at 4 today :') ))

((Yuck. Longest shift I've ever had was 9 and a half hours, was supposed to be 7 hours fifteen, and I only got a break after 7 and a half hours. It was awful.))

((We get ridiculous shifts tbh, but it's all money. We don't usually get let out on time either, if we're busy we're expected to stay back to clear the queues))

"This is only body heat from the boys, so it isn't that bad." Scarlet reminded him as she gently tickled Cole's stomach and he started to giggle.

"You don't have to shout." Jess told her.

"Yes he is." Rosco agreed.
________

Rachel smiled softly and she kissed him back.

Scareth smiled as he watched his daughter, and he kissed the top of her head.

((Is it minimum, or over that? In terms of wage))

"Still, too warm." Ian stretched and then folded an arm over his eyes.

"I'm just trying to give you an idea of where I am so you don't have to worry."

Faye just grumbled and curled herself up quietly.

---

Kai kissed her back softly before pulling her close to tuck her head under his chin.

Lucy leaned back after a moment, smiling brightly up at him.

Rachel snuggled into him. "This baby is definatey more like you, he or she doesn't know when to settle down." She murmured.

Scarlet watched him, just as the boys got off of the bed and ran to their dad, Cole now able to toddle after his bigger brother and they jump on Ian, starting to tickle him.

Rosco pulled her into him. "Oh, before you forget, you're meant to be going wedding dress shopping with your mother, sister, Rachel and Aria in a few hours." He reminded her kissing her neck.

He smiled back, kissing the top of her head.
_______

Jess didn't answer, she was looking at a royal blue dress, having taken it off the rack but kept it on the hanger and she looked at it. it was strapless and short, but not too short, and since royal blue was her favorite color, she loved it.

"Well, I suppose I'll have to learn some new habits," Kai replied softly. "Settling down is something I'm going to have to do."

"Ah, no, you got me!" Ian flailed exaggeratedly, before catching Cole and holding him above him, still on his back.

"If it takes longer than four hours, I reserve the right to murder something," Faye mumbled, adjusting herself to press against him.

Lucy grinned brightly at him and then turned around to plunk a few keys on the piano.

---

"Let me know as soon as you're ready," Herrit murmured.

Jess changed into the dress and she let her brunnette waves fall down her back, aftr a while of staring at herself she decided to ask a question. "Do you have any shoes to match?"

Rachel nodded. "Yep." She winced as the aby suddenly kicked a bit too hard.

Scarlet smiled as she watched Cole squeal in excitement as Hayden continued to tickle Ian.

Scareth turned so she had full access to the keyboard and he pressed some keys with her.

Sirius watched the scene from the doorway and he smiled to himelf.

Rosco smiled, nuzzlin nd kissing her neck.

"Am I permitted to come around the screen?"

Kai kissed the side of her head and moved to rest a hand on her stomach.

Ian moved to hold Cole gently to his chest, poking Hayden in the chest in response.

---

Lucy giggled happily, pressing keys at random and generally being happy.

Aria was sat up on the sofa now, watching them fondly with her book in her lap, though her focus was a little distant. Tuesday was sat as she was still, a little distant herself. They'd resumed their conversation.

Faye sighed softly, reaching to tangle her fingers loosely in his hair.

Jess nodded. "Yes."

She snuggled into him as he would have felt the baby kick.
______

Hayden giggled.
______

Sirius watched and he smiled.

Scareth hit keys alongside hers.

He moved to kiss he lips.

Herrit stepped around, looking at the dress Jess had chosen with a contemplative expression on her face.

"Fiesty little thing," Kai said softly.

---

"Are you quite finished picking on your father yet, hmm?"

"Are you gonna teach me?" Lucy asked, tilting her head back against his chest to look up at him. She was a generally quiet child but would speak sometimes. And then, before he answered, she wrinkled her nose as if having tasted something foul, and twisted to look at Aria and Tuesday.

Faye kissed him back gently, leaning closer to wrap her free arm around him.

Rosco held her close.

"If you want me to." He told her, looking over at Aria and Tuesday.

"Nope." Hayden giggled.
_____

Rachel nodded. "And not very gentle."

Jess suddenly got very self conscious and she looked at the woman.

Faye pressed a handful of kisses against his jaw with a content hum.

"Why is there someone else in mummy's head?" she responded instead, ignoring his answer. Her brow was furrowed and she looked a mixture of wary and worried.

"Well, dad might just have to and tickle you next then," Ian playfully threatened.

---

"You hear that, little one? Be kind to your mother. That's an order."

---

"Well, you certainly know how to pick your colours, don't you? I'd have put you in the royal purple ball gown, but your choice is much better. Jewellery or shoes first?"

Jess looked at her. "My favourite colour is royal blue." She shrugged. "Soes please, I hate beig bare foot."

He kissed her lips deeply

Scareth shrugged.

"Oh no you won't, mummy will save me." Hayden told him as he tried t crawl away.
______

"Kai if I don't listen to you half of the time then you really have no chance." She told him playfully.

Herrit walked across the room to a closet half hidden, and pulled it open, showing it to be a walk in wardrobe seemingly devoted to just shoes.

"Take your pick. Again, anything you don't choose is still yours for later."

Faye tangled both her hands in his hair as she kissed him back.

Lucy moved to take hold of his shirt, clearly nervous at whatever she could hear.

---

Ian gently set Cole to the side then scooped Hayden up, tickling his ribs ruthlessly.

---

"Well, we can hope he has a little more respect for me than you do," Kai teased in return.

Jess carefully walked over and she winced slightly since she was still sensitive from what happened to her during the attack.

He pulled her closer.

He held herclose. "You're okay."

Hayden giggled. "Mommy, help me."

"What makes you think that our first will be a son?" She asked him playfully. "But if they are anything like you, then yeah you wish."

Herrit moved to take a seat at the dressing table, watching her closely.

"You know," Faye murmured against his mouth, moving one hand to rest against his waist, "For telling me I had to go dress shopping soon, you're very distracting."

"There's someone else in mummy's head," she said again, insistently. "No one should be there but mummy."

---

"Oh, no, you've brought this upon yourself buddy." Ian blew a raspberry on his stomach.

---

"Here's holding out hope," Kai said jokingly, kissing the side of her head again.

She then picked up a silver pair of strappy heels and she put them on.

"Surely we can see how far we can get in two hours."
______

"It's alright."
______

Hayden giggled.
______

She smiled. "We're going to need it."

"Are you comfortable?" Herrit asked, head tilted as she hummed in thought.

"That sure of yourself?" Faye laughed quietly.

---

Lucy didn't look convinced, mouth turned down in a frown before expression suddenly and almost randomly brightened, her eyes lighting up in understanding.

"Do you give in?" Ian teased, still tickling him, more gently this time.

---

Kai laughed at that. "If this littl'un is anything like me growing up, well."

She nodded. "What is all this for?"

"Yep." He told her, nibbling her neck.

Scareth watched her.

"YESS...YESSS!!!" He giggled.

Rachel smiled

"I'm not allowed to say, I'm afraid. Would you prefer straight hair, pinned up, or ringlets?"

Faye made a soft noise, tilting her head over slightly.

---

"Its grandmammy," Lucy said, sounding sure of herself. "That's what's going on."

---

Ian laughed and picked Hayden up, sitting up.

---

"So, did you have any plans for today?"

"Can you leave my hair as it is?"

Scareth smiled.

Hayden calmed don after a few minutes.

"I'm going shopping with your mother, Faye, Aria and Penelope for Faye's wedding dress."

"That's fine." Herrit smiled. "Any rings, necklaces, bangles, earrings?"

Faye tightened her fingers in his hair, arching slightly to get closer.

---

"Did you know?" Lucy asked, eyes narrowed and suspicious as her lower lip stuck out in a pout.

---

"You okay there buddy? Not too tuckered out?" Ian laughed quietly.

Kai pretended to shiver in mock disgust. "Dress shopping. Eww."
