Herrit sorted through the boxes with frightening efficiency before less than ten were left for Jess to look through and choose from.

Faye tugged on his hair, to pull him up for another kiss.

"She swears a lot," Lucy finally said after some deliberation.

Ian ruffled his hair and kissed the top of his head.

Kai wrinkled his nose then, face twisting in an unreadable expression.

Jess looked at him and she picked up a simple one.

Scareth smirked. "I know, but you can't repeat any of those words, okay?"

"Please say you'll come with me."

"Would you like help with the clasp? And, finally, would you like any makeup?"

Faye pulled him close and then pushed at him until she was over him and straddling his lap.

"There's an awful lot of them," Lucy whispered.

"So, what are we doing today?"

"It'd be a bit rude if I didn't." Kai rubbed the back of his head absentmindedly.

She shook her head to both things, wanting to keep as much distance between them as possible.

"Well you can't repeat any of them." He told her, before he tickled her.

"If you have other thigns to do ten you can do that."

He shrugged.

"Did you want to do your own makeup?" Herrit asked, not put off at all, but keeping a respectable distance.

Faye gently ran her fingertips against his cheek, brushing his hair back from his face, and then leaned close to kiss him again.

Lucy shrieked quietly at the tickle, slapping his hands gently with her own.

"No, not particularly." Kai wrinkled his nose.

Ian flopped back down to the floor, humming in thought.

She shook her head.

Hayden and Cole both climbed onto him and snuggled close.

"Then...are you happy?" Herrit asked carefully. "Or, rather, satisfied with how you are?"

Faye ran her fingers through his hair and then moved to kiss his neck.

Lucy started squirming more fitfully, doing her absolute best to get away.

"Nah, I'll keep you company. Wouldn't be fair for me to throw you into the lion's den by yourself."

Ian ruffled Hayden's hair and leaned to press a kiss to Cole's head.

Jess nodded, looking at herself in the mirror. "What do I do now?"

Rosco moved so she had more room.

Scareth heldher close.

"That lion is my father remember, my mother wouldn't let him harm me or out baby."

Hayden smiled as Cole gigged.

((I got £5.15 an hour, which changed to £5.20 an hour shortly before I left.))

"Leonidas should have received further instructions and he will take you where you need to go. He's just outside."

"Right. Up we get," Ian declared, careful he didn't unbalance anyone as he sat up.

"Why daddy, where are we going?" Hayden asked suddenly excited.

Jess just nodded again and she looked at the door, before she walked to it and gently rested her hand on the handle opening it.

He helped her as much as he could.

Scareth giggled and playfully held her in the air.

"I know." She sighed.

((I wish I'd just asked for like four weeks leave just for studying, like unpaid leave, and then gone back but I had to hand in my notice. It seemed the better option. Good luck with it ^_^))

"We're not going anywhere. I, however, need to get up off the floor before I stay here all day."

The little boy from before was stood just outside, twiddling his thumbs and humming to himself.

Faye kissed his neck once and then ran her hands down his front, smiling slightly.

Lucy let out a tiny squeak, flailing a little bit more before abruptly grabbing onto his hands, as if afraid of falling. She was still smiling brightly, however.

"I suspect the world will come to an end before I like him."

"I know." She sighed.

Scare the smiled at her and he held her close.

He smiled back. "I love you."

Jess was sat on hers and Deaths bed, she had been there for a while waiting for him to return and in truth she was getting lonely.

Rosco was sitting in a tree with Scareth who was happily looking like he was asleep as he hung from a branch but instead he was just enjoying the sun.

Rachel had gone to Scarlets place and right now she was sat cross legged on the floor with Scarlet behind her as Scarlet fastened a braid into her daughters hair. "Are you excited?" Scarlet asked.

Rachel looked down at her very swollen abdomen and smiled. The baby was due soon but she was nervous. "I am."

Sirius had ended up sitting at his piano and he started to play something that he still seemed to be writing.

After a few minutes, there was a timid knock at the door, a quiet voice calling out, "Lady Jessica?"

"She's smaller than I thought she'd be at this age," Faye said, head tilted to the side thoughtfully as she watched Lucy sleep. Aria, sat on the sofa with Lucy curled on her lap, shrugged a shoulder and gently combed her fingers through Lucy's fringe.

"We always start off small. Psychics aren't particularly strong, so we look as non-threatening as possible." Aria went still as Lucy started shuffling about, making quiet noises before she settled back into sleep.

"I'm still not happy," Ian interjected, but it was good natured and not meant to sound as mean. He was watching them almost closely from his place at the table as he fumbled through what looked like a handful of documents.

"You don't normally call me out unless you want something," Tuesday eyed Kai suspiciously, and Kai scuffed a foot against a nearby tree.

"I...I w-want to know how to...to raise a kid," Kai finally muttered, stumbling over his words and Alarick, who had followed out of curiosity and was lounging at the base of a tree, snorted loudly. Kai snarled viciously in response.
