"Then go forth and make it happen Leon. It is on you. We have not cursed you nor forsaken you. We hear you, it just appears you have not heard us back before now."

"I.... Thank you. Thank you very much."

"You have a life filled with happiness, laughter and your children waiting for you. Reach out and take it." The boy said quietly before falling silent and closing his eyes.

Leon just smiled brightly in response to that, nodding a little bit before looking to his mother.

"Lets go..." Helena whispered, heading out.

"I need to go to Vanessa's restaurant." Leon whispered as he followed her out and got into the car.

"Is this what you want?" Helena asked warily as she sat in the car. "I know you were fearful of angering the gods, but you could've asked for some time to choose between the both of them. You do not have to do this, not with the both of them. It does not seem right. It seems like they're playing a trick."

"Why would they be playing a trick?" Leon asked quietly in response to that, "It solves all problems, Vanessa won't be so whiny, my children won't hate me anymore - Nikolai will consider me his father again. I just hope Kali will agree, that's my only fear."

"Do you want Vanessa? Or is this just to solve problems? You cannot go there and take her back if you do not want to be with her. You could have relinquished your love for her. I'm sure they will let you if you still want to."

"I know what I want, if this is my path than this is my path."

"You were offered other paths. Do you want to be with that girl? Do you want this? I am your mother. Answer me honestly."

Leon nodded subtly in response to that.

"Please, don't be lying to me." Helena whispered as she leant back in her seat. "If you do this and you don't want it, don't want her. There will be no happiness."

"I want this."

"Then go to her."

Do you want me to drop you off at home first?"

"If you wish."

Leon nodded, pulling up outside of the house a few minutes later so she could get out.

"Good luck." Helena whispered before getting out.

Leon just nodded and watched her go, a few minutes later entering Vanessa's office; "Vanessa? We need to talk... Right now; it's important."

"It's been a really really shitty day so if you're here to spew abuse at me then please just leave it for tomorrow."

Leon shook his head in the negative, "I want you to offer you an ultimatum.... I spoke to my gods, who it.. Turns out are your gods too, according to my mother. The same gods only different sides to them - Viking gods being more violent."

"Have you been drinking?"

"It's out of my system now." He snorted with a shake of his head, "They told me that we can all have happiness, the four of us. Me, Nate, Kali and you. That I can have both of you, that their original plan for me was thirteen children with Kali but then I got turned and Kali died so they blessed your parents and me with you, my true love and then brought my first love back and I can have both of you. I'm suppose to have both of you."

"Ah, you're on drugs instead." Vanessa mumbled. "This is a petty game Leon. I get it. I sounded stupid when I suggested you me and Nate. I'm sorry."
