"Lets go and prove it then, I'll meet you in the car." Falin laughed, grabbing the car keys and heading out.

Ciaran hung up then.

Kira rang Imogen.

Kol sighed and followed.

"What do you want? Haven't tried to communicate with precious Emmett." Imogen answered. "He made it clear how much he despises me, not trying anymore."

"It'll be fun," She hummed, getting into the car and starting it up.

"Ciaran asked me to call, wants to know if you'll spend the day with Aiden."

"mm.."

"Yeah, fine. Whatever. Better than sitting in the house alone all day, tell him to bring him over."

"At least pretend to be excited, I've never asked you to do anything like this with me before."

"It doesn't sound like my idea of fun, that's all."

"Okay, if you're sure..."

"I've already lost Emmett, to say no would be to deny myself any kind of family.. Aidens the only one out of all of you that seems to want my company, so... yeah. Tell Ciaran to drop him off." Imogen mumbled, hanging up.

"I don't think fixing cars is fun, but when you want to do that I sit there and look interested. Try and help sometimes."

She'll see him Kira text her son.

"I don't ask you to."

"Aidan, spend the day with Imogen?"

"I like the idea of taking an interest in each other on that kind of level sometimes." She whispered, pulling the car over, "And I can't do things like tennis on my own... You don't have to come if you don't want to, I can spend the day doing something by myself, I just thought it could be nice."

"Why can't we go see a movie, something we'd both wanna do?"

"She wants to?"

"Ok... Movie then." She whispered, pulling off once again though her smile had faded, disappointed.

"Your grandmother phoned her and asked, she said yeah, I'll drop you off?"

"Yeah, okay."

Kol just sighed softly.

"What do you want to watch?"

"We'll just see whatever is on when we get there, I suppose..."

"Here," Imogen whispered as she passed Aidan a glass of orange juice, "How've you been? Haven't spoken to you in a little while.."

"You still in bed?" Ciaran called as he wandered back into the house.

"Yeah!"

"Didn't think you'd ever wanna talk to me."

"It's pointless both of us feeling isolated for no reason, hm? I- suppose at the end of the day, you only were trying to help... and it was only your idea, you weren't the one to actually compel him." Imogen whispered, "Emmett is punishing me for it, so I'm not going to punish you.. Not anymore. I'm sorry for being mad at you, kid."

"Good," He grinned, heading up and laying beside her.

Lyra curled into him with a grin

"I'm sorry I've caused all this."

"I know you are," She whispered, "It's ok.. He'll come around one day, if he loves me like he used to claim he did then... he'll come around, if not then... I'm ok with being alone."

Ciaran wrapped his arms around her.

"I just wanted to help... Have my mum back, I was happy, wanted to maybe ease his burden, help him be happy too."

"Everything go okay dropping them off?"

"Mm, Aidan was a bit nervous about seeing Imogen but I think he'll be fine and the quads were over the moon to spend the night with my mum and dad as they always are. Everyones happy."

"I know you did, I know. Your uncle is just.. really sensitive, and unfortunately unlucky too." Imogen whispered, "I understand what you mean, by just wanting to help him.. All I ever want to do is hold him really close so he knows he's safe, in an ideal world, I'd be able to just hold him and he'd feel just a tiny bit better but he can't even look at me. When we met it was different, he's always been sensitive but he communicated with me, and we made each other laugh. It was good.. Now he blames me for things, and I'm just like a comforter he can throw away and come back to instead of a person."

"I'm sorry, ruined everything."

"People aren't meant to live long, and it's rare relationships last a human life time." Imogen whispered, "This was bound to happen, it all falling a part... it isn't your fault."
