The girl walked I've and gently tugged on her jacket. "Excuse me."

"Hi," Autumn greeted quietly.

"Are you awone?" She asked.

She nodded, "Yes, I am."

"Do you want women cwmpany?" She asked.

"Why? Would you like to sit with me?"

She nodded.

"Sit down then, you can have my brownie." She hummed with a smile, pushing the small plate towards her.

"Will you be around later or tomorrow? I'll bring him by."

"Don't you wike bwonies?"

"I've changed my mind about want it, you have it so it doesn't go to waste, hm?"

"Yeah, both later and tomorrow... Don't really have anywhere to go."

"Oh...okay..." She moved to sit on the edge of the chair beside her and she started to eat the brownie.

"Do you have to sit here and wait for your daddy to finish work often then?"

"Yep but I wike it."

She just shook her head a little bit in the negative.

"Daddy's fwends are nice."

"And who are his friends?"

She nodded over to some other waitresses and a waiter who were all laughing and talking as they served customers.

"Ah," She hummed softly in understanding as watched. "Is your father with anyone? What's his name?"

"Daddy's name is Ayden, and no...Mummy went away and never came home...Daddy hasn't seen any other pweople."

"Oh that's awful, how long ago was that? Do you know why she left?"

"I'd be careful if I were you, Ayden isn't one for people asking his three year old questions about him." One of the waitresses told her as she cleaned up the table beside hers. "Melody, your dad's nearly finished his shift, do you wanna get your coat?"

"Okay." She smiled looking at Autumn. "Bye bye pretty wady."

"She was the one who wanted to speak to me, don't speak to me in a way that sounds like a threat." Autumn replied sharply, narrowing her eyes.

"Just giving you some advice." She told her, finishing the clearing of the table.

Across the cafe, Melody had put her coat on and she ran to her father as she saw him come out of the back room looking pretty rugged and handsome and she ran to him. "Daddy!" When she got to him, Ayden picked her up and swung her around laughing as she squealed.

"Talk to me like that again and I'll show you where to go." She replied sharply, picking her tea up and throwing it over the woman before getting to her feet and leaving the shop.
