Ayden was stood at a bar, he'd been there with some friends for some sort of a reunion, but now it was just him and he was debating about going home as he nursed a bourbon.

When Drake didn't respond she let out a slow breath. "Drake...it's Amanda you always called me Shifter though, I'm just going to talk and hope that somehow this helps. You used to hate me when I was a kid because I annoyed you. I begged you too train me on speed and power because I wanted to spend time with... through that we became close, fell in love." She whispered softly trying to keep back her tears. "You meant everything to me, still and we have twins together Duncan and Adalaid. I let you go though when your true love returned. Sadly we didn't stay as close as we were and it's probably my fault but I'm going to help you. I promise..."

She just kept talking softly to him, her thumb rubbing lightly against his hand. She told him about everything she could think of...all of the good times and the bad. Her favorite place where she had brought him and she even admitted to something she never thought she would...when she finally ran out of words she beckoned Connor over.
