"I just feel like I'm nothing but trouble lately..."

He waited for her to continue.

"Everyone keeps doing things for me, and I feel like I'm-I'm...." She whined unable to finish.

He smiled.

She shook her head hugging her knees.

"You're what?" He asked, since h;d only smiled to try and cheer her up.

"Like I'm a failure...like I'm making all the wrong choices now...ruining everything..."

"The only way that you're failing right now is through not being happy and making us all feel pointless when we try and talk to you and you shut down." He told her. "Like earlier when Sarah was talking to you, she asked you why you felt like you couldn't talk to Madison and Kol about the baby and you shut down."

"Because I didn't know what to say... because they're happy about their baby an-and I don't know what I am."

"I've told you if you don't want her then we can get rid of it." He reminded her. "But you should let us talk to you and help you whn you need it."

Brook cringed when he said that looking down at her lap and laying a hand on her stomach. "I-I don't know what I want..."

"Well when you decide, maybe you could let the rest of us know."

She nodded slowly.

He moved to stand up.

Brook looked close to tears again as she watched him.

He carefuly stretched as he looked at her. "What, I had to stretch."

She sniffles and wiped her cheek with the back of her hand. "Pete?"

"Yes?"

"Would you be angry if I went away for a few days?..to do some thinking on my own and get my thoughts straight?"

He looked at her. "If that is what you wish."

She blinked up at him. "Will you be angry? I don't want you angry with me..."

"I don't know." He told her. "But it's not my choice, it's yours so I will respect your decision."

"That isn't what I asked..." She whispered quietly. "Do you want to come with me then?"

"I can't go with you, I'm needed for work here and Elsa and Kol don't want me going anywhere since I didn't get out of hospital unti yesterday."

"Work?" She looked at him confused.
