Immortal Mansion

Deluca clenched his jaw squeezing Sarah's hand.

Sarah had stopped eating, just twirling her food with her fork.

"Ariadne, that's enough." Kol told her and he sounded more strict than ever this time.

"But it's true, I'm just stating facts!" Ariadne told him. "Sarah's barren, she can't have a normal life."

"Everyone please excuse me, I'm just going to the ladies." Sarah told them as she stood up and left, her usual cheery persona making her put on a false smile as she left.

Deluca muttered something getting up and following her out. "Sar?! Wait."

Nathaniel frowned deeply shaking his head.

Madison blinked several times but kept quiet feeling it wasn't her place to intervene.

Sarah was in the bathroom, but the door was locked.

"Ariadne why can't you just keep your mouth shut." Eris asked.

"But-"

"No buts, for once stop being a hating bitch and be happy for Sarah." Kol told her.

He knocked on the door. "Sar, let me in please."

Sh kooked at the door. "Why?"

"So we can talk."

"There isn't anything to talk about." She told him as she unlocked the bathroom door and she was drying her hands.

"You sure?"

She nodded. "I've accepted things." She shrugged. "Yes it hurts whe people bring up children, but I have an eternal smile." She shrugged. "I'll be fine."

Deluca looked her over seriously before nodding and wrapping her in his arms.

She hugged him back.

He kissed the side of her head. "Want to go back and finish dinner?"

"Um...No thanks, I'm going to go and take a lie down."

"Want me to come with you?

"I'll be fine on my own." She smiled at him.

"Okay."

She smiled softly at him and she kissed his lips before shelet him go to his food.

He kissed her back but choose to watch her leave first.

She headed up to their room.

He made his way back to dinner taking his place at the table once more.

Eris and Peter were the only ones still at the table, whilst Kol done the dishes.

Deluca was quiet while he ate.

Madison helped Kol clean up.

When it was done, Kol gently slid his arms around her, minding her baby bump, kissing the top of her head.

Sarah lay on hers and Deluca's bed and she looked at the ring.

She smiled leaning against him. "Shouldn't be to much longer now."
