"Mm, based on my conversation with your sister it seems like you and my sister are very similar."

"She likes adventure. That's good enough for me."

"I gather you and your sister are human, hm?"

"You sound like Apollo." She laughed

"What did she tell you?" He asked arching an eyebrow.

"He's smart. No reason to stupidly endanger my own life."

"That you were both in town visiting your Great Aunt Serena."

"You cant live your whole life scared to be hurt. It isnt a life then."

"And where does the human question come in?"

"It's a perfectly content life. I have loads of fun that doesn't require death."

"I know what they are, but, you two arent close with them, and my sister bet you down the cliff so I gather your not like them."

"Adrenaline and death are different."

"You're sister didn't do anything. I always do stuff like this," he shrugged.

"Maybe for you and my brother but not for me."

"You human or not, thats all I want to know." .

"You got some illness or something?"

"We are. Just your average humans. No fancy tricks or anything with us."

"Me? I don't think so?"

"Well, then adrenaline abd death are different for you too," She hummed.

"Fancy tricks?"

Dallas laughed. "No super speed, breathing underwater, changing into animals? Just your ordinary human."

"Dal enjoys all of that. I don't... I have a much more sensitive stomach for things than he does."

"I wouldn't want any of that," Apollo grimaced. "All sounds very dangerous."

"Mm, I can tell."

He raised an eyebrow at him. "It all sounds very dangerous? Gosh, you sound like Lane," he laughed. "You're human as well or?"

"I suppose he's told you that I'm 'boring'?"

"Mm, human with a couple of tricks." Apollo hummed with a bright smile.

"Deathly boring." Persephone chuckled.

He eyed him. "Mm, like?"

Delaney laughed. "That actually sounds exactly like him."

Apollo was thoughtful for a few minutes before walking over to where a fish had gotten stuck out of the water; picking it up he covered it over with his hands and closed his eyes. Moments later, the fish was alive once again, and he placed it down in the water - watching it swim away.

"He's pretty cool," Persephone grinned.

Dallas watched him silently with a rather curious expression on his face, leaning over to watch the fish swim away. "Healing powers?"

"He is... when he's not trying to get us both killed."

"No, a bit darker than that. You heard of necromancy?"

"How has he done that?"

He nodded. "Does Lane know?"

"Uh, let's see... learning to surf and jet ski, dirt biking, getting us lost while hiking. Just to name a few."

Apollo shook his head in the negative. "No, no she didnt seem fond on the idea of finding out when it came up. Which is fine."

"Getting lost is the best, its how you find all the cool stuff!" Persephone smiled.

"Probably thinks it's something that could endanger her or something."

"Thats just a right of passage in mine and Apollo's family." She chuckled. "Only chuck in a load of demons and dead people."

Laney blinked at her in honest confusion. "What?"
