"She might be a daughter of one of the other lords." Caleb told her. "ust hopefully not the one that Elijah despises."

Marie looked at her husband.

Elijah shrugged.

"Well Eric isn't a little boy, I'm sure he can handle himself."

"true."

Marie looked like she wanted to go and speak with her son anyhow.

"Go and talk to him."

She laughed. "I will, later. He's having a good time."

Eric was indeed hving a good time, he was winning, but now he had ditched the shirt after it got ripped to pieces.

Marie was watching him as well as her other children and nephew.

Sure enough there wasn't just the one women who had been talking to Eric watching him but a much quieter girl that was off to the side.

Eventually no one else could beat him and they decided to take a break as he laughed with some of his friends.

"Elijah... all the ladies are eyeing our son," she whispered softly.

"That's not the bad thing."

"I didn't mean that it was, he's a very attractive young man."

Elijah smiled. "Well, runs in the family."

"That it does," she laughed.

He kissed the top of her head. "Go and talk to him."

Eric was oblivious to the women watching him.

She smiled and kissed him softly before going to speak with Eric.

He kissed her back as he watched her go.

"Eric,?" She tapped his shoulder.

Eric turned to face her. "Hey mum, you alright?"

"Perfectly," she smiled giving a quick hello to his friends. "You're aware you have quite the group of female admirers, aren't you?"

"Yeah?" He asked, glancing around just to check that she was telling him the truth. "Guess I do."

The fact that he didn't know made her smile. "You should talk to a few of them."

"Nothing would come of it." He told her. "Not while I had Maggie."
