"You're scars are what make you, you. We all have scars... each of us. It shows strength. Plus it's not your scars I fell in love with," he whispered coming up behind her and sliding his arms around her waist.

Frankie walked over and gently lay a hand on her stomach whispering softly to her in the language of the angels.

Mathew watched him from the doorway, he heard his words and he saw his niece take comfort in them. "I wouldn't let Alice hear you."

Hayden lent into him. "Then what did you fall in love with?"

He glanced over his shoulder at Mathew. "I know. I just didn't want to see her upset..."

"You. The tenderness you possess but also fierce and loyal. All of you." Ethan told her quietly tightening his arms around her.

"I know, but Alice can't speak any other language, so be careful."

Hayden smiled. "Not as fierce as you."

He just nodded watching Lily sleep.

Ethan grinned. "I'm not at all fierce."

After everyone ate CJ showed the others to their rooms.

Mathew checked on his son before he met CJ in their rooms.

Everyone else went to their rooms and got ready to get some rest.

Stephan soon joined Ana in their room.

"You can be." She told him, pressing a gentle kiss to his lips.

He kissed her back.

CJ was preparing for bed when he joined her.

Frankie headed to his room.

Ana reached for him when he joined her.

Rylee sat in the far corner of the room she was in on the floor.

Stephan slid off his shirt and joined her.

She kept the kiss for as long as she did.

Mathew slid his arms around her from behind.

Alice was still sat on her bed, Stephan had patched her up pretty well, but she could not bring herself to sleep.

Maxx knocked on her door. "Rye, you okay?"

Ana moved to curl up into his arms. "Is Alice alright?"

He kept the kiss for a few moments.

She leaned back into him right away. "Everyone settled in?"

He leaned against the doorframe. "You okay?"

Rylee glanced around. "I-.. yes?"

"She got cut from the Angel, but other than that, she's fine."

She kept the kiss for as long as he did.

He nodded. "You know when you told me you wanted a large family, I doubt you dreamt that it would be like this."

She nodded. "I'm fine." She told him, she was half undressed, her back to him.

"Can I come in?"

"Just so she's alright."

Ethan broke the kiss after a few minutes.

CJ shrugged. "They are my family. I lived with them for awhile after you left.."

"Alright."

Rylee nodded. "Yes, please."

He walked into the room with her.

"I know." Mathew hated being reminded that he had left her in the past.

Alice nodded.

Stephan nodded.

Hayden smiled softly at him.

She slid her arms around. "It's okay, what's happened happened. We're together now."

Rylee looked up at him from her spot in the corner of the room.

He nodded. "I know."

He sat with her.

She moved to curl up into his side.

Rylee leaned her head on his shoulder.

He held her close.

He slid an arm.around her.

"What do we do now?" CJ whispered after a few moments of silence.

She scooted closer to somewhat curl into his side.

He kept her close.

Mathew shrugged. "There isn't much we can do."

She sighed softly. "Is everyone going to be safe here, Mat?"

Rylee was very quiet and much calmer with him there beside her.

"I think so." He told her.

Maxx kept quiet.

"I hope so..." she smiled softly.

He smiled back kissing her head.

Stephan sat on the edge of his and Ana's bed. "You know before this kicked off, there seemed to be something that you wanted to ask."

CJ yawned laying her head on his chest.

Ana laid down slipping beneath the covers. "Did I?"

"I think you did."

She shrugged. "Well we were doing a lot of talking and there were things I was trying to take in that you were telling me."
