"Would you lik to go for a walk to talk in private?" He offered.

Alice smiled softly and she looked over as Lily ran towards them holding something in her hands. "Daddy, look!" She held out her hands and there was a small frog sat in her hands.

Hayden kept her smile looking over at Lily.

"That's the problem...I don't remember."

He looked to her. "You." He told her.

"Yeah, guess I will."

"I've tried menial tasks, tv, reading, painting, thy didn't work." He told her. "I evn tried extreme sports, like cliff diving, mountian climbing, none of those either." He told her. "I'm kind of out of ideas."

“That was not yelling.” He told her. “But I’ll go with you.”

He looked to her. "As you wish it."

"I'm normally like this." He told her.

“Because you left.” He told her. “Your life wasn’t the only one that turned upside down, mine did too.” He told her. “You were the only constant thing in my life and then you left too.” He told her.

“I’ve known you for years, do you think I enjoyed those stupid science fairs your mother did?” He asked. “You were at each one of them, we spoke plenty of times but you never remembered.” He told her. “But like you said I need to get over it right or leave you alone, so I guess it’s as you wish it.” He told her as he grabbed his jacket leaving for the front door

“Didn’t you hear what I said?” He asked. “We spoke every time we got to know each other every time, we cared about each other each time but then I would get sent away and when I came back you wouldn’t know me.” He told her and he pulled an envelope from his coat pocket throwing it on the table to her. “You missed some pages by the way, you might want to read that to find out why your mother was against us.” He told her.

He watched her from the doorway, it was diary pages from one of her mums work journals. She detailed a good friendship between Damian and Alessia, how every exhibition they would talk for hours, and then days and months and almost years after they would hang out and get to know people, even Layla had been part of it at one point. Then it would detail missions that Damien would be sent away on and whilst he was gone, she would induce Alessia to ‘treatment’ that would ruin her memories so she would forget Damian and Layla. It was like a cruel trick to keep her daughter safe from them.
