Creatures of the Dark

"Mm," Aldrich hummed his agreement, dropping his voice to a low whisper to the demon beside him. "Be ashamed if something happened to ruin that pretty face, right?"

"She's special." He agreed quietly. "Always so happy... always."

Eris smiled slightly. "She does look very happy."

"Mm." He hummed in agreement. "We had some... problems.. with a rogue wolf but its all done now. He is probably rotting in hell somewhere."

"That bad?" She asked, one of her hands had remained out of his sight from where she was stood and she started to use her powers on Elliot, trying to see if she could turn his emotions the same way she did with the other couple.

Elliot physically flinched as the powers worked its way into him, his eyes flashing honey coloured amber as his wolf tried tried to fight against it.

She pushed harder against the wolf, she was slightly stronger than him because of her age. “You know I’ve never dealt with a wolf before, he’s pretty impressive, I might just have to keep you.” She mused

"You're not Eris. Get out of my head." Elliott growled lowly, quietly. Taking a physical step backwards as he continued to fight, having to clear his throat when humans around them looked.

"Every wolf I have met has been... very resilient. Its the animal within them, I think."

She smiled. “Took you long enough.” She told him pushing harder with her powers. “Sorry sweetheart, but you’ll do my bidding whether you like it or not.”

Pain flashed across his face, a plain physical crying out for help before Elliott's shoulders slumped. The honey amber fading, though not to his normal vibrant blue eyes but a dull, dead grey - no longer in control of himself, merely a blank slate of a puppet.

Aldrich watched in silent amusment.

She smiled. “You’ll be able to see and hear everything but you won’t be able to stop yourself.” She informed him. “Now that little mate of yours let’s see if we can now get rid of that smile.” She told him. “I want you to make her suffer, make her hurt worst than anyone could, destroy what is left of that pretty face and body but don’t kill her not yet.”

"Diabolical." Aldrich chuckled as he watched Elliott turn on his heel and walk stoicly towards the shop. "Who is Damian though, mm? Why were you asking so much about him?"

“He’s best friends with the king of the demons.” She told him. “Nothing says duck you to the king rather than messing with his best friends.”

Belle had just finished paying for the items she bought and was waiting for him outside of the shop

"Ah," He hummed in amusment. "This is going to be interesting then."

Elliott hand instantly gripped onto Belle's waist roughly, eyes flickering as the battle once again resumed though it was between the demons control and his wolf rather than his human side which had completely retreated. Elliott's body pulling Belle into the alleyway shadows to shove her against the wall wordlessly. Clearly out of character.

“Very much so.” She decided to watch Elliot and Belle.

Belle looked to him. “Elliot what the hell?” She asked him.

Elliott's hand lifted as if he was going to hit her, though instead his palm hit so violently against the bricks beside her head that his skin cracked open and began to bleed. His head ducking to bury his face in the crook of her neck. Where his wolf normally would have sounded more like him, with his own consciousness to weak to fight, it sounded much different. Mentally crying out for the help of Belle or her wolf all the same.

"He's still fighting." Aldrich mused.

Belle jumped when his hand hit the wall. "It's okay," She whispered to him. "You can fight whatever this is, let me help you." She told him, her own wolf linking with his to share their strength.

"Damnit, I forgot mates could share strength," She growled. "Wrap your hand around her throat." She commanded. "I'll wear him down another way." SHe mused.

Elliott's chest heaved, panting at the effort it took to fight. Hand slow, shaking as his head moved away from her neck enough for his hand to grip around in its place.

Belle tensed. "Elliot, this isn't you, please let go." She took hi wrist in her hand.

She smirked slightly. "Now squeeze as hard as you can."

Elliotts free hand moved to his pocket, barely managing to click on a button on the side of his phone - almost like a speed dial text to Damian, an SOS message. This being his last act before even the wolf couldn't fight anymore, his eyes dulling and filling with a heavy haze as he lost the battle, and with it, his grip tightened around Belle's throat as commanded.

"Elliot-" She choked out, her grip on his wrist tightening to try and get him off of her.

"Come on Elliot, I'm waiting to see how uch torture you can do."

A malicious smile tugged at the corners of his mouth, tone pleasantly dark - not his own as he stated to Belle, "Do you think anyone would really choose you, you are nothing but a pity project. You looked so pathetic that day. No one actually loves you, everyone just feels bad for you."

Belle tred to gnore him, concentrating on getting his hand off of her first, before she suddenly kicked him below the belt as an attempt to get hi off of her to at least get oxygen into her system.

"Seriously, that's the best you got?"

An 'oof' sounds came from his mouth, grip loosening only momentarily before locking across her throat once more. His free hand curling into a fist to punch her.

She winced as she felt the connection, before he was suddenly pulled off of her by Damian. "Alessia, take Belle." He told her, having brought her with him to help Belle. "I'll deal with Elliot."

"Who are these people now?" Aldrich questioned, wrinkling his nose as he watched closely.

Alessia's arm wrapped around Belle, barely even needing to be told before knowing the plan. Sweeping her out of the alleyway and into a empty house nearby for privacy.

Elliott growled lowly as he was pulled back, physically fighting against Damian's grip.
