"I'm sure the queen would be too busy for someone like me." She told him as she walked behind a screen to change into the dress she had picked.

"Someone like you? Tell me what you mean by that..."

"Well I'm not rich or royalty." She told him. "I don't even know what to talk to her about, and I' sure there are more royalty that she needs to be talking to"

She headed into her room and went to the TV to turn it on first.

"I do! I remember it! My papa and I used to sing it together," she giggled looking over at him briefly.

There was a long moments pause and many blinks. "I will only be calling you Aeon if that is alright with you. And there's something I should tell you since you're being honest with me."

He moved to sit on the bed.

"You needn't tell me anything, Lady." He assured, swallowing thickly. "I don't- you needn't tell me a thing. You are being kind enough."

"Your father?" Aled offered a warm smile. "Was he a good singer? Did he do any silly dances? What was he like?"

"She doesn't get on with many people, so I doubt she'd be socialising with the world. You should.. you should try, today."

She nodded. "Okay, I'll try." She walked back out in the dress. "What do you think?"

"It suits you wonderfully," Elliott hummed in quietly approval. "And it will look magnificent in a few hours when I have ripped it off of you and thrown it into the corner."

She laughed softly. "Then I can't wait."

"Mm;" He hummed with a tired smile, pushinh himself to his feet. "Now you've chosen, I can choose something to wear that matches. I'll.. be a bit longer. If you go ahead I will meet you at the dance, okay?"

"You sure?" She asked. "I don't mind waiting for you."

"No. I want you to go ahead, mingle."

She nodded. "Okay, she walked to him, kissing his cheek. "Let me know if you want me to comeback."

Elliott waved her away before disappearing into the shower room.

She watched him go, before she walked down to the party.

Alessia was leant against the bar, sporting a simple, bodycon black dress. Her raven hair in their natural afro curls. Sporting golden bracelets and a golden chain necklace with a white crystal pendant that lay against her breastbone. In her hand a flute of champagne rested.

Belle came and joined her. "Hey Alessia." She smiled.

She soon joined him, sitting beside him.

"My papa," Reagan's eyes lit up at the mention of him, clearly remembering him very well now. "He's wonderful! Very very funny and oh, so smart. He's a lovely gentle kind man."

"Lady? That makes me sound incredibly old and I'm probably barely you're age. You aren't human, hm? You said something about wings?" She asked quietly, casting a sideways glance at him.

He smiled softly.

"What is his name? Where does he live? We could find hin for you, he could have the answers you're looking for."

"Belle," Alessia hummed her greeting, glancing to her and smiling widely at what she was wearing. "Oh, good choice. I nearly chose that dress for myself."

She smiled softly, taking a glass of champagne. "Great minds think like, I love your dress."

"Dresses that make you stand out aren't quite as fun when it doesn't matter what you wear. I stand out now no matter what.." She nodded towards the eagle eyed guards in formal wear to blend in as guests. "They have the subtly of bulls in a China shop."

Belle looked around and she nodded. "Just a bit." She looked around again. "I'm surprised the King isn't here."

"He is busy finding a way to save your mate, he doesn't want to take his soul." Alessia grimaced. "Damian is devastated. He has lost all of his friends, Elliott is the last of them."

She nodded. "I'm grateful."
